Thanks. ^_^ I like to be sure to use some of the actual mythology that surrounds certain digimon. Of course, things in the digital world just keep getting more and more creepy.

I might have become tempted to put together profiles for a few other evil digimon...

Don't worry, I won't sic them on us all at once. I may be evil, but even I need to pace myself.

Haha. Have you figured out a way to compare how Digimon would compare to each other strength wise? I've always just kinda guessed.

Well, it varies from digimon to digimon. Some strength relationships are obvious such as angelic and other holy attribute digimon being effective against darkness attribute and demonic digimon. Aquatic digimon can generally be expected to be more effective against flame attribute digimon and insectoid digimon can generally be expected to be more effective against plant attribute digimon. Machine digimon, on average, have greater offensive and defensive capabilities overall, but they tend to be vulnerable to lighting attribute attacks. And, of course, you also have to take into account a digimon's level of digivolution because that can be a huge game changer. For partner digimon, also, the strength of the bond between human and digimon has a huge impact on that digimon's potential. Experience is also a key factor in determining the overall strength of a digimon. For partner digimon, this means having the capability to hold higher stages of digivolution over a longer period of time and being able to more efficiently wield their power.
But really, since there aren't very many officially defined relationships between digimon, the franchise does leave a lot of it up to guessing.

Yeah, that all seems to be the best information there is. Heck, even the video games don't seem to give digimon the same relative power-level from one to the next.

I think it just depends on factors, much like it does on Pokemon.

Well, the most basic factor is attribute: Data, Virus, or Vaccine. Data attribute digimon are more vulnerable to Virus attribute digimon and Virus attribute digimon are more vulnerable to Vaccine attribute digimon. Vaccine attribute digimon have minimal effect against Data attribute digimon. Variable attribute, of course, is completely dependent upon the environment and applies exclusively to Hybrids.
And, of course, some digimon are just inherently stronger than other digimon. For example, in Tamers, Takato asserted that he was going to make his digimon even better than Agumon. It makes sense, then, that Guilmon became a Virus attribute digimon because the Virus attribute tends to increase aggression which results in higher offensive parameters.

Yeah, same happened with Tai/SkullGreymon. SkullGreymon has plainly higher base offence, but Metal Greymon isn't all berserk all the time.

That maaaay not have been the best place for the digiegg to get sent. Kristoph is likely to take it right back to the digital world.
