Digimon: Rise of a New Threat

"Well, only if you attempt to escape... And even then, I think I'll only paralyze you. I'm just going to have too much fun to kill you!" Miya reached out and pulled towards her an odd device on wheels. The device stood around four feet tall, and was covered by small vials, all connected by tubes and clamps. One section of the device could swing outwards and extend, it's shape was a third of a circle and also had straps along it's length at certain intervals. On the outwards curve were around twenty smaller, metal tubes, each around the size of a pencil. This device was fairly unpleasant, each of the twenty metals tubes each held a needle, the device overall would withdraw blood, but also pump in a special concoction of dark energies that Miya had been using on Digimon to twist and warp them before using one of her Dark Spears to completely corrupt and turn them. Miya snapped her fingers and three Geckomon came forward, each grabbing hold of Dea's left arm as they lifted it up and into position as Miya began strapping her into the device.

"Now, this won't hurt a bit... Oh who am I kidding, it will be the most painful thing in your life. We'll pump you so full of dark energies that you can't say no to our orders." Miya cooed as she continued her work. Dea's partner, Teddymon, would be finding herself in a very... Unwanted place. She would be in a cell overlooking what could only be called a colosseum, where currently, a Tyrannomon and a Monochromon were in an all out brawl, the sounds of cheering and shouting from the stands surrounding the arena drowned out almost all forms of coherent thought. The two large Digimon clashed over and over again, their eyes glowing red, each bleeding from multiple wounds all over their bodies, until finally, the Monochromon drove his horn through the Tyranomon, the arena becoming even louder at the Tyranomon dissolved into Digidust. The Monochromon had little time to rest, because another door in arena opened and out charged a Centarumon, this second brawl lasting only a few seconds as a well placed Solar Ray ended it. Another door opened and the fourth contender, a DarkGreymon, entered the arena. All that could be said about the arena was that it was a heart-wrenching, cruel scene. These Digimon, failures in Miya's experiments, were disposed of once she had ramped up the violent tendencies using the Dark Spears' power to manipulate their minds.
 

Deanna managed a small growl, so she didn't plan to kill her, what in the world was she planning then?  She had said something about having too much fun with her and she certainly did not like the sound of that at all.  She heard something moving and it sounded big, but she couldn't see what it was, she could only hear the squeak of its wheels as it was moved near her.  She felt something grab her left arm and she tried to struggle, break free of them.  Unfortunately, she felt her arm being strapped to something, wondering if it was the thing she had heard.  She heard Miya mention something going to hurt and that they would pump her with dark energy.  Oh no, she didn't want that to happen at all.

"Really, sounds like you are having this machine do everything for you, doesn't sound like the fun you would enjoy, something doing all your work.  Oh well, guess I was wrong, so you have a machine, whoppie.  You won't win, I am a strong human,"she warned.


Teddy was watching what was going on below her cell and she didn't like it at all.  It was a bloody mess and digimon were being killed meaninglessly.  Why would that be happening, what was the point of it?  She didn't know where she was, but she certainly did not want to be here.  And she wondered where here best friend was, was she okay?

Raidramon winced slightly when Black Gatomon kicked him in the head, but he soon became more concerned by the Blossomon that had emerged.  He quickly reverted back into Veemon while looking to Davis.  "This definitely looks like a job for Flamedramon," Veemon suggested urgently.

"I think you could be right about that," Davis quickly agreed.  Holding out his D3, the icon for the Digi-Egg of Courage became highlighted on the screen of his D-Terminal.



"Flame Fist!" Flamedramon quickly began launching fireballs from his fists onto the nearby Blossomon.

"Geez, where the heck did Blossomon even come from?" Davis complained loudly. He seriously didn't like what was happening. He also really hoped that Kristoph and Reptiledramon had some way to put some of the pressure back on Black Gatomon.

When Tsukaimon returned with a pair of Gryphonmon, Razuko turned around and thought he caught a glimpse of one of the other dark digidestined he had met at the dark castle entering the restaurant. Razuko frowned slightly. He hadn't mentioned his part-time job to the other dark digidestined because he didn't think it was any of their business what he did outside the castle, but now that he was almost certain he might have been spotted he wondered if that might have been a mistake.

"Shall we get going?" asked Mikemon as she mounted one of the Gryphonmon.

"Hold on, I thought I saw someone," Razuko told the group of digimon that were now assembled around him and Astamon. He felt like he should probably clear this up before Lilitha decided to return to the castle and possibly tell the others about his little 'secret'. He didn't want to give them any reason not to trust him and Astamon, especially since he had seen how dangerous some of the others could be if you happened to get on their bad side. The blue-haired youth started walking back toward the restaurant, clearly a little uneasy about how the exchange would go over. Astamon started to follow him, but Razuko waved him down. "It's alright, I doubt anyone would be foolish enough to start a fight inside the restaurant."

"Just be careful," Astamon responded before letting him go.

Razuko entered the restaurant and, sure enough, spotted both Lilitha and Impmon seated at one of the tables. He walked over, trying to appear casual. "I don't think I've ever seen you stop to eat here before."
