Digimon: Rise of a New Threat

"Actually, that doesn't really make much of a difference because my plan isn't to fight anyone," Crystal explained to Kusara.  "My plan is to use my partner's Mega form, Ulforce Veedramon, to get Kristoph and his partner into the dark castle while traveling at a speed faster than the eye can see to make it difficult for them to track us.  At the same time, we'll also create multiple break-in entry points to keep them guessing about where they are actually coming in from to give them some time to search for Deanna and Teddymon while the guards inside the dark castle are confused by the diversion.  Then I'll have my partner create some kind of dramatic spectacle outside the dark castle to draw some of the guards out to chase us down while thinning out the forces inside the castle to give Kristoph and his partner some extra room to search."

"From a purely tactical standpoint, it sounds like it might work," Izzy noted having brought up Ulforce Veedramon's profile on the Digimon Analyzer.

"Like I said before, I can definitely get them into the dark castle," Crystal reiterated. "I just won't be able to help them get back out." She looked to Kristoph. "But, since you're clearly determined to save your friend, I'm supposing that isn't a problem."

After Shira, Lunamon, and MarineAngemon were in room he closed the door behind him. He watched as his younger sister sat down in one of the chairs holding MarineAngemon in her arms as Lunamon hopped into her lap. He then heard Shira ask him why he and BlackGatomon brought them here. "To show you and your partner something that concerns you and is also connected to the MarineAngemon that is in your arms." Kuro said calmly to Shira as he walked over to the dark crystal orb and extends his hand towards the orb. The orb starts to glow and project a image made of a dark purple light of a old stone tablet with inscriptions that were in a old language that had images of a MarineAngemon, a crest that was a crescent moon symbol, and of Lunamon's pendent. BlackGatomon then looked at Shira and Lunamon. "Kuro and I found this tablet a few days ago but not even I do not understand the markings on it or what they say. We believe that it is something that involves you, Lunamon and MarineAngemon that may allow you to gain your crest Shira." BlackGatomon said calmly to Shira.

Kusara heard the other Digidestened talk about letting their families know that there could be trouble. She reached into pocket and pulled out a old photo that was the same as the picture that was in Shira's locket. The photo was of Shira when she was 5, Kuro when he was 9 who was smiling, herself when she was 13, and their mother and father standing outside infront of their house. She looked at the photo with sadness in her eyes. Lopmon saw her partner was looking at a old photo and noticed the sadness in her partner's eyes. "Kusara." Lopmon said to Kusara with a concern tone in her voice.

"We were friends, until the other Digidestined came along. They claimed you didn't fit in with us, that you despied being with us. And then we found out that they had made you that way, had manipulated your thoughts. You are Deanna Hansen, proclaimed Queen of the Digital World after Ken Ichijouji failed in being the 'Digimon Emperor'." Miya nodded towards MetalPhantomon. "If it hadn't been for Metal, we'd have never gotten you back, I think." Miya sighed as she stood at the edge, looking down at the mass of Digimon below, all of them looking up towards where they were. She turned to Dea, smiling at the girl.

"They're waiting for their queen." She indicated the massive gathering with her left hand.

Dorumon slammed his right foot against the cage door, his eyes flashing.
"Then prove it! Prove you aren't under the influence of the other Digidestined as well! Prove that you would even give you life as I once did to protect your partner!" One of the Dracomon twins lifted his fist and crushed the lock with one well aimed punch as Dorumon threw the door open. "Go to her. Be the Queen's Fist. Be her sword and her shield, be the wings that lift her to her place on the throne."

TK blinked at the door the new guy had just left though and then looked back at his brother and friends. "Did he just say a sword?" He asked a little surprised before shaking his head. "Its not really that important right now I guess. We're just going to have to focus on keeping things safe here in the real world until we know more." He said determined. He didn't really like the idea of sitting back and waiting, but new people's plan sounded crazy, and Izzy was right, someone needed to be here to protect the real world in case something happened.

Deanna was quiet as she took in the information that Miya had told her about how they had been friends.  She thought about it and it was like she could remember all the times that they had been together in the past.  Her 'memories' also showed her being the queen and Teddy at her right hand, making sure everyone was kept in line.  She 'remembered' the Digidestined coming and taking her away from her home and a bright black glow seemed to surround her as more of these 'memories' seemed to come.

"They will pay for that, but for now, the people are waiting,"she spoke.  She walked to the edge and raised her hands to silence them all.

"Do not worry, my loyal subjects, I am back and with help, I will be better than ever.  Thank you, Metal, for bringing me home,"she called out, looking at MetalPhantomon with a smile.


Teddymon watched as they broke down the bars keeping her in, then ran out.  She nodded her head as she ran into the castle and to the room she knew Dea was in.  She made her way through the crowd and jumped up to where Dea stood.  She watched as Dea bent down and picked her up, before stroking her fur.  She felt the darkness cover her and watched as it changed her fur black and though she could not see them, her eyes were now blood red.

"I'm sorry I kept you waiting,"she spoke.

Izzy watched as Kristoph left with Dorimon. TK wasn't the only one surprised when Kristoph mentioned sharpening a sword. That had gotten strange looks from Tai, Matt, Yolei, Cody, and Ken. Davis, Sora, and Kari weren't really paying attention to Kristoph's parting words because the three of them were still worrying over Kusara. But, as TK had said, even if Kristoph's words were meant to be taken literally, that didn't really matter now.

"For now, I guess me and Tentomon will just keep running surveillance and I'll try to get a hold of Gennai again to see if he's found anything," Izzy stated after thinking it over briefly.

"Well, me and Gabumon aren't in any rush since dad won't be home from the TV station until late," Matt noted while looking to TK. "If you like, I could come help you break the news to mom though."

"I should get going since I have to take the train back to Tamachi," Ken spoke up. "But Wormmon and I can help with some of the surveillance and research once I get home."

"In that case, Hawkmon and I will walk you to the train station," Yolei quickly volunteered.

"I guess I should be the responsible older brother and break this thing to our folks," Tai said regarding his sister since she still seemed to be preoccupied with Kusara with Sora and Davis.

"I think I'll go home and talk this over with my grandpa before I have to break the news to my mom," Cody decided.

With that, Izzy watched as Tai left with Agumon, Ken and Wormmon left with Yolei and Hawkmon, and Cody left with Armadillomon. Shortly after they all left Izzy's mother appeared in the doorway carrying a tray of rice balls. "I didn't know how long your friends were going to be staying, but I thought you could all probably use a quick snack since you seem to be focusing really hard on something."

"Um, yeah, thanks mom," Izzy got up to retrieve the snack tray. His mother left the room and Izzy set the tray down on his bed where it was immediately set upon by several suddenly very hungry digimon namely Gabumon, Biyomon, Snow Koromon, and a suddenly very conscious Demi Veemon.
