Personality:
Purdie has not physically or mentally changed all that much save for putting on most of the weight once lost when he was actively exercising, and in many ways he still is the same person he was before. Still loyal and orderly, a tad awkward, nervous, and sometimes a major worry wart on almost any issue. Yet he has changed as well- in a time before the war against the demons he would have run into battle with little forethought about what would come of it. Now he has grown wiser and knows how to strategies. Another aspect is the fact that once a blind follower, he is now a lot more willing to make orders. That isn’t to say he can be as firm and strict like Mistral, however he can take on a serious façade and deal with difficult situations where as before, he would have stuttered and stumbled over his words.
Personal History:
As a child Purdie had been raised in a rather average home. He was the only child in his household, with a mother and father whom did their best to raise him. When Purdie was young his mother and father wanted him to take on the job of being a merchant, to inherit his father’s line of business. However, as he grew up and started to work a little Purdie found that he just could not handle the stress of taking control. Any time he had to make a deal he was easily pushed around to the disappointment of his father.
What Purdie wanted was a job that required the opposite, his undying loyalty and to follow orders. Thus he chose to become a solider, hopeful that at such a time of peace all he would ever need to do was stand around, look neat, and maybe protect the castle from one or two marauding bandits. The training to become a solider did not take long and soon he took post, about a year or so before the inevitable attack by the demon hordes. Suddenly he was forced to fight and protect the royal family, was caught on the Stella where he watched Princess Luna drown, had fled with his then leading commander Mistral Ull when the Water Kingdom was swarmed, and joined in the final battle to chase away the demon hordes.
The fight raged on for almost a year, with many good soldiers dying left and right. Purdie himself had even sustained a near fatal wound but had luckily survived despite his particularly average fighting skills. With a few good connections and a good friendship with the now returned Princess Iris, he was rewarded for his efforts by being offered a good sum of gold to his family, an expensive estate within the Capital, and a position as a Councilman. It did not take Purdie long to decide. After all that had happened, witnessing the deaths of comrades, and almost finding himself slain in battle he agreed wholeheartedly.
At the same time Purdie found himself entangled in a relationship with his leading Commander, Mistral. Though never imagining he would come to develop any romantic feelings for someone of the same gender, he nevertheless developed a bond with his commander and continued the relationship well after the war. However, while Mistral has gone forth and spoken to his parents of his sexuality- a choice which led to his disowning, Purdie has yet to tell his own parents and questions if he ever should.
Other:
- No longer exercising daily since he has retired as a Soldier, Purdie has easily returned to bad habits of dining on fine food and wine, causing his waistline to expand a bit
- He has increased in magic slightly- he can cast ice now but that’s it. He still pretty below average when it comes to magic
- In one particular battle Purdie sustained a wound along his stomach- the result of the blow had damaged his large intestine and had opened a wound great enough to almost allow his organs to spill out. By pure luck he was saved and has healed since then, but any damage applied to his stomach tends to result in some painful stomachaches which can last to about a day for Purdie

Personality: More mellowed out than he was before, Helmut has grown to be less sporadic and has just about reached a balance, mental state. This is not to say he is the strict, straightforward man he once was, in fact Helmut is still quite lively, talkative, and generally curious. It just happens to be that he’s stopped rambling on, has ceased to view the world in a skewed manner, and has come to actually be rather horrified with what he’s done in the past. But being an optimist he tries his best to forget what was done and remind himself that he is not the same man he was before.
Personal History:
Born as the eldest child and only son of the Lunaris family, it was destined to be that he, Helmut Leutwin Lunaris, would become the heir to the Imperial Throne while his younger sister Aurora was tasked with the mantle of being the Imperial Guardian. Neither one seemed particularly upset with their chosen roles and took to their lessons well. While Aurora was prepped for the role of Guardian, Helmut was taught the proper mannerisms, politics, and skills necessary to be King. Whether it came to writing, holding a conversation, duelling with fellow men or preparing laws Helmut excelled at all and coupled with two parents who instilled justice and morality, many did not doubt that he would become a good King.
Upon completing all necessary education to prepare him for the day his parents would pass on, he came into contact with his wife-to-be, Uliana Evangelos, and within the year they were proposed for marriage. Alas Helmut’s parents passed away before they could attend the ceremony, but the two were married nevertheless and took on the title of King and Queen a couple of months after their wedding. Together they ruled over the Imperial Kingdom, doing their very best to govern the land fairly. Yet despite their efforts, a small group only known as the Rebellion craved the power whom which the four royal families had and so a plot was formed to kill them. Their efforts sadly were directed to Helmut’s family, where they first killed his wife through infecting her with a deadly illness, and then proceeded to poison the King.
Their plans were only half completed though, as Helmut by luck survived their attempted assassination. This would push the Rebellion to go into hiding, but the damage was done. While alive, the poison they used drove Helmut mad and it was clear some time after he was well again that he could never return to his position as King. Thus in an effort to keep him and her children safe, Aurora locked her brother in his room and took it upon herself and her husband to be King. This solution worked for a while, but it caused more damage than good in the long run. With only his sister and brother-in-law as visitor, left to watch the world go by through his window, Helmut grew bitter and madder day by day until at last he planned his escape. He fled into the night and was not seen for a year, until at last he reappeared. In that time he had been gone he joined the Rebellion who promised him his throne in return for his help.
Together they killed and usurped the royals of the Water, Earth, Fire and Imperial kingdoms and Helmut returned to his status as King. But being highly unstable now, he only caused great misery to his people through absurd laws and violent punishments to all who disobeyed them. This lasted for some time until those children of the original monarchs arrived with the plans to take back the throne. In this time he also learned that his sister and brother-in-law had survived, aware of his plans before their attack. Together they fought and defeated Helmut along with the other usurpers, though where his allies died he survived thanks to his sister’s mercy. His punishment though was to be locked away in a special prison which restricted his powers, and it was there he waited for twenty years.
This time Helmut began to mend his mind rather than grow madder. Regretting his decisions and just wishing to be free, Helmut did his best to patiently wait for that day and eventually it came in the form of Leon needing support from the old King. He used this chance to be released day to day, building up his powers secretly until he escaped. Then he utilized his flesh manipulation to change his features, followed with a new name to permanently remove all traces of “Helmut Leutwin Lunaris”. From there he went to the Earth Kingdom and took up the job of a delivery man where he happily traveled across the lands.
It was also there that he met his wife Juliana Evangelos, whom had been his wife’s twin sister. It had taken him quite some time to accept marrying her, as he felt like he was betraying his deceased wife. But in time he married her, albeit still under the false name.
Other: As he’s practiced his powers over these 20 years, Helmut has successfully repaired his throat and no longer has a low, scratching voice though it is still quite different than from the one he had before.

Personality: Curious and nosy, Aloys often intrudes into other’s business and has no concept of “no” when it comes to entering places or learning about others. He will not certainly force his way into places, but offer him the chance and Aloys will sneak into buildings he is not allowed in. Aloys also has no concept that royalty is inherently above being questioned, looked into, or talked with so he has on multiple occasions gotten in trouble with guards from all over the four kingdoms. Never to the point of fighting as Aloys does believe in peaceful methods to conflict, and he never spies for any nasty reasons such as blackmail. Aloys is just a little, know-it-all, curious young man who wants to learn about the world.
Personal History: Aloys was born and raised in the Earth Kingdom, despite both of his parents displaying abilities which were found in the Imperial Kingdom. Due to being born five years after the demonic war he never had to contend with either the fear of further attacks or the difficult financial times which followed, and thus has often had a laid back life. As a little toddler and child Aloys had practically little to concern himself with other than what any child his age would be worried about. But when he turned eleven and his natural abilities began to manifest, Aloys started to realize that much of his family dynamic was shrouded a great deal in mystery.
The first of it was when he manipulated a burn on his hand to not only heal, but literally expel the damaged cells and then heal over with clean, healthy ones. He had never seen or heard of such magic, being as flesh manipulation was taboo, but feeling so proud to do it he rushed right for his father and showed him exactly what he could do. His father was horrified and insisted Aloys never practice such a spell again, ever. He never understood why his father was so concerned about this type of magic, nor would he ever explain his reasons for disliking it so much. However, Aloys continued to learn in private, careful to avoid being caught until one day his father walked in on him while training. Aloys was almost certain his father would be furious, but after a short lecture about ignoring orders his father sat him down and began to shed a bit of light on the situation.
His father could also cast such magic, and he knew it well. However, flesh manipulation was frowned upon in all of the Kingdoms, all because of a certain King who many hated for his horrible deeds. After that his father left it there, reminding Aloys to always be careful and to stop practicing if he was wise. But now curious about this mysterious Mad King Aloys looked into it until his mother told him the full story- including the bit where apparently her sister and his aunt was the wife of the Mad King. Since then Aloys has been trying to figure out just how he learned such magic from “The Mad King”, certain that his ability to cast such spells had something to do with his father and this “Mad King”.

Personality: Cold, calculating, and at times very charming, Bonnie is a man who manipulates all to see that he gets his way. He has no interest in power, not interested in obtaining wealth. He just wants to see a new and proper change in power. In some ways his behaviour could be described as “sociopathic” since he has on multiple occasions killed other for survival and in slow, brutal ways. However, being as he was moved to do what he does through sympathy of others, it is arguable that Bonnie is kind and has simply learned to ignore the violence inflicted.
Personal History: All Bonnie ever knew in life was that the nobility were, in his words, total bastards. As the son of a prostitute, Bonnie was quickly sold away by his mother’s pimp to the Imperial Castle to be raised as a servant’s “son”. When the Rebellion attacked and usurped the throne, Bonnie had barely made it out alive with the man who had raised him, escaping the mass slaughter. From there he was brought to an inn within the Fire Kingdom and left there to be cared for by the keeper, though the Rebellion had been so ruthless there that his childhood was a poor one. Upon hitting adulthood, Bonnie moved towards the Water Kingdom in an attempt to find better work. Instead he found the nobility was changing yet again, leading to multiple wars and fights which made the Water Kingdom too dangerous. In one last attempt to find work where most people gathered, Bonnie moved to the Earth Kingdom. However, the changing times was difficult for all, and Bonnie sick and tired of the nobility and the power struggle decided to avoid any and ever Kingdom.
He moved to the wilds and lived away from all castle and Kingdoms. After being sold into arguable slavery at the Imperial Kingdom, living in poverty at the Fire Kingdom, nearly losing his head at the Water Kingdom, and finding no work in the rapidly changing Earth Kingdom, Bonnie felt that the nobility and the concept of a King or Queen was tedious. Surely, he thought, there could be more work done if the leader was elected? Chosen by the people? This thought grew in Bonnie who as he traveled as a mercenary heard the stories of many abused and forgotten by the Kingdom until one day, he met a particular woman who was scorned by the King, the honourable and righteous King of the Imperial Kingdom.
And that was it. Bonnie at this point decided to do something, and that something involved killing the nobility to set a new system, a better system.
Other:
- While “considered” part of Drusilla’s cult, he really just hangs around to talk with Drusilla to discuss more plans about how to ruin the nobility

Any chances of him entering battles are hereby just last ditch efforts should he be cornered and he avoids dealing with individuals whom may be physically dangerous to him. In some ways he is still the same- loyal, orderly, awkward, and nervous. However, he has become extremely anxious more so with three children to care for and that bravery to take charge has been lost after what happened in Aliquam. Despite no longer being in danger of Slasher, the attack on him and the general stress has led to Purdie preferring to just nod and agree and he is extremely reluctant to bring up any new ideas. As such he hopes to just avoid any and all meetings on the incoming attack, as he does not feel he can handle another set of problems so soon.
Personal History: Since the day Purdie could remember his life had its highs and lows. Raised in a simple household with his father, a powerful magic caster and merchant and his mother, an everyday housewife, Purdie could never bolster himself enough to follow in his father’s footsteps. At such a young age he could never imagine himself capable of haggling and running his own business, so he took up the less glamorous job of being a soldier for Mare. When he signed up he presumed there would not be much trouble- peace had been upon them for quite some time and surely another war would not occur within his life time? Such hopes were dashed when shortly after joining the Demon Wars occurred. He almost lost his life when the Stella, royal ship to the Windstorm family, sunk and took everyone including the Queen and Princess Luna with it. But in the process, his survivorship granted him access to Princess Iris, who with her support allowed Purdie to move up in his career. This leap in status was further helped by Mistral, Captain of the guard whom in time became his lover. With some luck and combined efforts by all the kingdoms, they defeated the demons and for twenty years after peace once more reigned. Then came the Second Rebellion, with tensions rising as Leon possessed by a demon known as Slasher wished for the death of all demonic beings. Amongst this turmoil, the romance which held strong for twenty years between Purdie and Mistral was lost, and attacks by rebels, upset demons, and Slasher himself had worn down Purdie immensely. It was help from Teal, a fallen goddess who had befriended him twenty-years prior, allowed Purdie to move on and hold through the war, eventually falling in love with her. A year later, after they had rid Leon of Slasher and crushed the Second Rebellion, Teal and Purdie married and had three children. Since then they’ve been living peacefully in the capital city of Mare, though such relaxation is short lived as now a new threat presents itself.
Other:- A combination of a wound to his gut, the physical beating inflicted by Slasher, the near suffocation by Slasher following the beating, and the stress and lack of sleep over the Second Rebellion and Mistral has left Purdie in a weaker state. He gets ill more frequently, suffers ulcers from time to time, and avoids certain foods that he knows will cause him stomach troubles - Further lack of exercising has brought Purdie back to his heavier size when he was younger, though unlike before he doubts he can just exercise it off like he had in the past - His anger to Mistral for breaking his promise has lightened, but he still has not mended any friendships with him Puppet-master: Little Fluffette

| Guth compared to Grimhi is a tad taller and heavier. He has a bit more fat, mostly due to being a tidbit gluttonous, but much of his body is muscular and defined when his armour is off. He has black hair, like his sister, which goes to about his shoulder and is kept back in a bun. A beard trails from the sides of his head to his chin. With dark red eyes, a large nose and thin lips, he is usually sneering. | Grimhi is slimmer than her brother and tall- though just a little shorter than Guth. She is slim and very muscular, with long black hair tied back into a ponytail. She has a slightly slimmer nose than Guth and has larger lips. Amongst this her nails are longer and painted black, and she adorns a bit more jewellery than her brother. She is not always sneering like her brother, but she does tend to keep a more serious face. |

Personality: Due to being together for so long the two share a lot in common. Both Guth and Grimhi are not very social with people less it has to do with work, both enjoy sparring, and tend to hold their allegiance to each other than their own species or country. Guth and Grimhi are equally as willing to mess with those when the mood is right and happily enjoy trying to confuse others in relation to being twins. Yet despite having been together day in and day out for 132 years, there are differences amongst the two.
Grimhi is a little more willing to try and help others. In fact, the reason the two came to the Four Kingdoms was her concern for innocent demons being slain. She is far more proper than Grimhi and is most likely to talk to others. She does most of the socializing for the two, usually when it comes to gaining information or just trying to entertain others. However, despite her ability to socialize Grimhi loathes being given help. Historically, the two have faced challenges that sadly were best suited for Guth. As such, many of her battles required some support, leaving her feeling a little inadequate and yearning to prove her worth and skill.
In contrast, Guth has little interested in others beyond his sister and tends to rationalize why it might be alright to leave others to suffer- that is, if Grimhi hasn’t decided that they should save them. Proper behaviours such as “please” and “thank you” are nearly non-existent in Guth’s vocabulary, so don’t expect any kind gestures to be returned. He tends to be the intimidator at times where Grimhi cannot get information out normally. While Grimhi hates being given help, Guth is quite fine getting support and has no qualms about being helped. In fact he’s felt that, without Grimhi, he’d likely run into a fight head on and die then and there. So he feels very inadequate jumping into a fight alone.
Personal History: Guth and Grimhi were two twins born to a poor woodsman and his wife. They lived in Umbra in a lone wood and happily played together while their mother and father worked day in and day out. They had no friends as children and were told to never stray far, as such beyond their mother and father Guth and Grimhi had relied heavily on each other’s support. When they reached an adequate age, their father attempted to train the two in battle. Despite his life as a woodcutter, he had been trained by his father to fight, as had their grandfather, and their great grandfather, and so forth.
With time and practice the two improved and found their niche- Guth larger and stronger than his sister and Grimhi quicker and slimmer than her brother. Upon adulthood, the two left to explore Umbra, earning gold through their travels by working as mercenaries. Increasing difficulties and harder challenges pushed the two to improve in their fighting skills, and in time they came to gain the title “The Twin Soldiers of Umbra”.
Information and politics beyond their homelands were of little use to Guth and Grimhi in their youth, so incidents like the Mad King, rebellion, and the demon wars were of no concern to the two. However, when news spread of a king wanting to kill all demons, Guth and Grimhi felt it was their job to stop them. With their weapons and armor packed, the twins set forth for Aliquam to slay the King fighting to start a war. But the trip was long, and by the time they had arrived the problem had resolved itself. Nevertheless, they were here now and decided to continue working as mercenaries.
In recent years, the duo has earned some work from the nobility, usually through clearing out any remaining rebellious individuals or old enemies.
Other:

 In the five years since the attempted attack Neznami has made serious efforts to isolate and “break” Bonnie so that he can get more control. He’s purposely forced Bonnie to gain weight with the intent of physically weakening him to make his control easier. Amongst this he’s given Bonnie little sleep, giving large bags under his dark brown eyes. His black hair has grown out and is unkempt though washed daily. He usually wears the chef’s uniform and little else. While never fast, he has significantly been slowed down and often is sitting or resting. Bonifaas Gustaaf Yonker

Personality: Bonnie was once cruel, cunning and skilled at manipulating others. However, since time has passed and under the control of Neznami, he has become highly paranoid and has greatly distanced himself from those he could have trust. Where before he felt a need to help the poor, now he has become more obsessed with killing the nobility and makes no attempt to befriend or work with others. He has grown considerably tired however, and a part of him yearns to just give up and move somewhere to live in peace.
Neznami on the other hand is violent, cold, sadistic, and happily bothers Bonnie for his own entertainment. He wishes to see his plan go through and will happily let Bonnie suffer if it means he gets what he wants. He often takes over when Bonnie is in a fight to make sure he escapes.
Personal History: From the day he was born Bonnie had faced nothing but difficulty. In his earliest years the Yonker family was poor, living with only his father who could barely make enough for the both of them. Times became particularly difficult when the Mad King usurped the throne in Aliquam, inevitably leading to his father’s execution when he failed to follow the bizarre and unnatural rules. Homeless, Bonnie struggled for a couple of years until he was kidnapped and sold to one of the head servants. He worked in the Castle under the Mad King’s rules and continued to work there after his defeat, relying on the Lunaris’ for shelter, food and gold.
Some time later, Bonnie was arrested and kicked from the castle when Queen Ren Windstorm and her daughter Princess Luna were slain while on the Stella. Assumptions that demons were involved called for all demonic-born individuals, including Bonnie, to be removed from Aliquam. With no home or work he bummed about from Kingdom to Kingdom, either forced to flee when demons attacked or denied a job. His mixed blood left him incapable of finding work on either side, and he came to slowly loathe the nobility more when he felt they, of all the people, should have accepted him at a dire time.
When the demons were finally defeated and peace had returned, Bonnie tried to get work back in Aliquam. Sadly, those holes left from employees being fired had been filled, and his lack of work and skill from being a servant for one family meant many did not want to hire him. Feeling it was the fault of the nobility for caring so little about the weakest and poorest citizens, he decided to overthrow them and replace them with elected individuals. But he lacked power, his father had never trained him in magic as it was his deceased mother who was the demon, and he had no swordsmanship.
While sleeping one night, a demon of Mundas known as Neznami came to him in a dream. It offered Bonnie the powers it had and in return, all Bonnie would have to do was let it use his body as host. Desperate to change the political structure of the four kingdoms he agreed and with the power of illusionary magic he went forth to gain an army and kill the nobility. With help he was able to get the royal family of Ignus murdered and even convinced one of the nobles, Kolt Willairth to join him. However, failure to properly kill Kolt and King Leon’s efforts to slay all demons put a kink into his plans and he failed to rid the Kingdoms of the royal families.
He was not beat however, and escaped alive. Refusing to give up he planned to recuperate and return. However, Neznami had other plans. Seeing that Slasher, a Dream Demon from Mundas, could successfully control Leon convinced Neznami that he and others could do the same, and so he began to use Bonnie for his own goals of gaining a human body. At this point he is still working to gain full control, slowly manipulating Bonnie to his plans. Thanks to being careful at not showing himself, Bonnie is able to work as a cook at

- Neznami when in a fight will use his illusionary skills to make it look like he, in his true form, is before them. This is to avoid having Bonnie’s real face be exposed
- Since controlling Bonnie his connection to the human world has grown as has his power
- Bonnie has been working as a cook at Aliquam castle
