As Amelia went to check in on Clovis he made his way to the morning meeting as per the captain's orders, he waited as the twins had their meeting and wondered what to add to Amelia's training regiment today maybe I should just keep her with the current routine until she has a better mastery of her current lessons he thought to himself. After waiting patiently he entered the office and stood at attention before the captain "Sir, Thomas Harken reporting as requested." he said in an even tone, "Shall I proceed with her training as it currently goes or do you have another suggestion?" he asked evenly.

The Next few days passed quickly for Harmony. She worked with Catherine some, But with the arrival of Sir Joshua and the changes made, Harmony felt that she had accomplished less that what she felt she had needed too. She did not complain. She found that she had some more free time than she expected and took some time outside the fort to hunt and pay tribute to her patron, grateful that they in a way answered her prayers. She had also been attending her morning meetings with the Captain. She currently delayed her approach till later, because with how Catherine's been so cooperative, she did not feel that her plans were as immediately necessary as a few others. So she decided she would wait until the Captain dealt with the others, before checking in herself. _____________________________________________________________

Alex had been roomed with Cain, something that he did not really mind. In his mind it would be no different than those nights that they drank too much and passed out. Those nights were few and far between and the only nights that Alex was able to sleep anywhere other than his own bed. At the time, the only reason was because he was too drunk to care.
For the most part, he avoided Catherine and her manly knightly protector. He spent hours praying that he never got caught alone in a hallway with that man. For his presence there told Alex exactly what would happen if he did, and Alex liked his face too much to let it happen. If the Knight, Sir Joshua's, dirty looks said anything, it was definitely "beware, I will hurt you..." Alex was not so dumb or naive not to believe it.
Currently Alex was too lazy to get out of bed, and staged a calmer and quieter protest to his situation. He was not going to wake up until he was good and ready. He sure as hell was not going to train, out in the heat, learning to act like a barbarian who cannot use his brain to solve a matter.

Amelia entered the room when Clovis told her to. She saw the cat and knelt down by Sybil and gently pet her. When Clovis asked her if she was glad to have her own room, she found herself looking away and blushing just a little. She had not told Clovis what was going on between Thomas and herself. Nor could she. It hurt her that she couldn't tell him, but she did not want to give this up either. She was having fun at night. "It isn't like home, but it's a lot better than sharing it with others. At least I don't have to worry about others snoring. Thomas sleeps in his study so I don't hear him." Lies. Thomas and her shared the bed. Ever since Amelia started to stay in his room, they slept together.
"From what I can tell, it looks like you've been making a lot of improvements. I'm happy for you, Clovis." Amelia smiled. She didn't care if Clovis lost weight or not, as long as he was happy. But she had to admit, he seemed to be doing better and she was glad for that. "I hope as time goes on here though, that we'll be able to spend more time together." Amelia smiled. So far the only people she trusted here was Clovis and Thomas. There was no way she was going to trust Chaos and even less so of the Captain.

Who Am I Really? Markus was fighting like a knight should, defending himself more so around his chest area, but overall going on the offense to not feel cornered. His training had prepared him for anything, so even though he was slightly exposed under his jacket, he was handling himself very well with the four men attacking. He kept his eyes open though, spotting a female lieutenant watching from the sidelines rather than stopping the fight. It made Markus feel good about himself, instead of the natural reaction to be upset. If he were in real trouble then the lieutenant would be stepping in to stop the fight, but it appeared he was proving himself worthy.
He smiled at the thought before he suddenly remember who he was supposed to be pretending to be: a bratty royal without any training. That cover was blown, wasn’t it? He suddenly spotted a soldier jogging over while waving his arms, and so he took a punch to the face to fall to the ground as the soldier stood in front of him against the other four.
On the ground, Markus rubbed at his now sore (and most likely bruised) cheek while the soldier blew the fight out of proportion. He obviously hadn’t seen Markus kicking everyone’s asses. However, it was better to seem like a victim rather than a victor in order to appear like the untrained royal that he was betraying. However, the look that he was getting from the lieutenant told him that she had seen everything and wasn’t falling for it one bit.
Lena Komarine Lena watched Oliver stop the fight that was finished once the royal took a punch to his face. Either the royal was going off of human instincts to survive and had somehow miraculously gained fighting skills, or the royal had been trained before in hand to hand combat and excelled in it. Lena was leaning more towards the latter of her train of thought as she finally stepped over to the group and stood beside Oliver. “Yes, yes. What would the Captain think? …Probably that you all just had your asses handed to you by a royal.” She smiled at them before moving an arm on Oliver’s shoulder to use him as a post to lean on.
“Four of you couldn’t even take him down in the first minute. That’s ridiculous. I’m very disappointed.” She gave them a frown before chuckling. “Perhaps it would be better if you trained more before you started another fight with someone you underestimate them.” She said, looking at their cuts and bruises before shaking her head. “All of you are on stable duties until I say otherwise….I’ll be checking the stables in an hour, and I better not see horse crap on the floor or else I’ll add another extra chore to you all.” She said, explaining to them that they weren’t off the hook despite the fact that she didn’t stop them. They four men grumbled a ‘yes ma’am’ before saluting her and being dismissed.
Lena waited until the guys were away before removing herself from Oliver to give him a pat on the head. “My, aren’t you a brave one.” She praised before turning and crouching down in front of Markus. “And you are more talented than I thought. Only a few hits landed on you, but I still don’t approve. I understand you were cornered into this fight, so I’ll speak with your trainer as to what he wants to do for your punishment.” She said before offering a hand and helping him up. “Oliver.” She spoke, turning her head and smiling to him. “Could you take the royal back to his room and treat his injury? I’ll go find Henry to report this to him. Thank you.” She ordered before leaving the men to themselves as she headed for Meinard’s office, knowing that’s where Henry would be.
However, instead of knocking on the office door, Lena decided to wait outside until the trainers were dismissed to talk to him. She didn’t want to deal with him right now, and his beautiful glare that made her want to kiss and punch him at the same time.

Harmony knew from the past few days that the time for the morning meetings varied. She didn't have much planned to do for the morning, since she took care of everything extra she needed to do the night before. She decided that this might be a good time to go check on Catherine. She figured she could see how the Noble woman was fairing and make sure they both went to eat breakfast. It would also be a good opportunity to discuss what they had planned for the day. She hoped at some point Catherine might loosen up about combat training, but so far her efforts to teach the woman were shot down. She hadn't asked Catherine since the incident with Alex, she did not want to nag or come off as rude, but she could not let the thought she needed to train the woman properly go. She figured she would remind Catherine that her offer to teach the woman how to punch was open if she ever wanted to take her up on it. She had heard the fight in the courtyard, she was close enough to see it, but before she could really make a decision if she needed to intervene she saw and heard Oliver run and tell them stop. She was surprised that Lena let the fight go on long enough that someone else had to interrupt it but she would not comment. She, while not always approving of the woman's actions, trusted she had a semblance of common sense. Even though she had a reputation for sleeping around, she did not dislike the woman. She knew that Lena, was different Thinking about Lena her thoughts came back to the twins. She had not much of a chance to talk to either of them. She had missed her chance to listen to stray a few nights ago... either he decided he was not ready to tell her, or it seemed by the fates it wasn't time for her to hear, she knew he would talk to her when the time arose. She also worried about Chaos, but a broken heart was something she did not have much experience in helping mend. She would support him if he needed it, but for the most part she hated to admit was not sure she could do much more that listen and tell her, inexperienced opinion. She walked the familiar path to the barracks and did not say much to those she passed. Mainly because she had a lot on her mind it seemed these days. When she got assigned here, she knew that things were not going to be easy, she did not expect the the unease would stem from her own nature as a mother hen... She hoped both Camui and Stray would be okay and she hoped that she would be able to convince Catherine to stay and learn beyond the week. She knew that Catherine had much she could learn the longer she stayed here, and she hated to admit it, but it was nice to have a woman around she could relate to... It was in many ways a relief, as well as a frustrating situation, and she found herself smiling at the thought, for some reason she found it humorous as well. When she reached Catherine's door she knocked, hoping she had not already missed her.

Thomas nodded at the captain’s statement “No sir, everything is going well. Lady Amelia has shown remarkable abilities with the crossbow, not so much with the sword but I've got a few methods yet to try.” He said evenly as he stood at attention, “When she’s willing to focus her efforts I believe there is no task she’s not able to achieve.” He added in a proud tone before letting a smile escape. “If there’s nothing else I’ll return to my student, she was talking with her brother.” He said before saluting and turning to leave.
Once outside he breathed a sigh of relief, he knew he would be in hot water for a while but meeting Amelia made it all worth it. Not being able to spend evenings with Amelia was tough for him but they would have to work something out, every day she reminded him more of the woman he lost years ago on the front lines. As he waited for Amelia he saw the chaos in the yard and smiled at Lena method, he also saw the evidence of real training from the noble.

Who Am I Really? Markus was ordered to go to his room and receive treatment from the soldier named Oliver, but there was no way Markus was going to allow someone to treat his wounds we he was so exposed. However, he cunningly agreed to the plan and led the other soldier to his room while feeling all the punches echo through his body afterwards. Before the two made it to his door though, Markus turned his head to Oliver and gave a somewhat bashful smile until he stopped in his tracks. “You know, I’m doing just fine. I don’t have any cuts or that like, so I can manage on my own.” He said with a nod before stepping away. “Thanks for the help, but I’m fine. I’ll tell the lieutenant you helped me though, so have a good day.” He called out before he made it to his door and stepped inside his room and let out a long sigh.
Estellé then moved quickly, removing her shirt to check her back as that was where the most pain was coming from. She made sure the door was locked before she moved over to the small mirror in the room, lowering her shirt down to take a look. However, as soon as she twisted around to look over her shoulder at her back, a horrible shock of pain hit her and caused her to stumble to her knees before falling to the ground on her left side. She held in a scream as her side screamed out in agony. She took a few deep breaths before accessing her pain. “Cracked or broken rib, Markus. Suck it up. Be a man…” She told herself before forcing herself to open her eyes and sit up, leaning back against her bed frame and taking forced breaths. “Okay, so. Right side isn’t too hot, but that’s fine. You’ll be fine. Just get to your bandages and wrap yourself up.” She nodded to her own words as she staggered to stand up.
Once she was up on her feet once more, she moved to her dresser and grabbed the bandages on top of it, moving them around her waist first like usual before the pain sent a jolt through her that her her dropping them. She clenched her teeth together, closing her eyes as she cursed herself. “Dammit…How are you going to pick that up?” She asked before lowering her head down on top of the dresser to feel the coldness against it. “Dammit, dammit, dammit. Dumbass soldiers and their cheap shots.” She hissed out, wishing one of them was there now for her to punch.
Lena Komarine Lena wasn’t normally the type to wait around patiently for things, but anything was possible when love was involved and a woman’s heart is on the line. So with a large amount of patience, Lena waited outside Meinard’s office as she almost forgot about Markus and his trainer Henry until the lieutenant came out of the office. She stared at the man with little interest as he strutted around like the peacock he was. “Morning, Henry.” She answered back to him with a bit of a laugh in her throat. Hearing that the captain was almost done made her giddy, but she held in her excitement as her responsible self reminded her of Markus.
“I’m actually waiting for you.” She started as she pushed herself off the wall and stepped over to him. “Your royal, what’s his name? Barret?” She asked before thinking about the name. “Hm, why does that name sound familiar?” She thought aloud before rubbing her chin. The name left her mind though as she realized she needed to still clarify what happened with Markus. “Ah, sorry. Anyways. I found your royal this morning in a fight with four other soldiers.” She said bluntly without feeling the need to beat around the bush. “He did fine, I watched it a bit after I saw the royal throw the first punch. It was pretty amazing. Must be some fine teacher.” She complimented with a laugh. “Oh, but he did manage to get a few hits on him though. I had a soldier go back with him to his room for treatment. Personally, I would give the royal a pat on the back, but Meinard won’t be too happy to hear about this and not see any consequences laid out.” She explained.

Who Am I Really? The knock on the door made her want to laugh as the situation before her eyes was rather out of character for her. It wasn’t often that she was even injured in fights, which she had quite a few over the years since compared to most knights in the castle she was small in stature, but still she knew how to take care of herself. A cough escaped her for a moment before she could answer Henry, resulting in another wave of pain to roll through her body. “Just a minute.” She called out as she looked down at her open shirt that was more than revealing as it hung off her shoulders from when she tried to assess herself earlier. Letting Henry in was out of the question…until her eyes landed on the mess of bandages on the floor. She couldn’t pick them up, and she needed them to help with supporting her ribs…
With some effort put behind it, Estellé gathered her shirt closed over her chest and stiffly walked over to her door. She paused before opening it though and spoke through the door to Henry, “I’m not exactly…decent, sir.” She wanted to make it clear that he would be entering quickly if he wanted to help her. So she unlocked the door and opened it enough for a body to fit through before shutting it close as soon as he was in. She leaned against the door with her arm for a moment before standing up tall slowly. “I think it’s a cracked rib. If it were broken, I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to walk so well.” She said with a smile, not wanting to worry her friend too much. “I was just about to wrap it up, but my hands slipped.” She said, looking over to the other side of the room to where the bandages laid on the floor.
She tightened her grip around her shirt, making sure it wasn’t too exposing before looking down. “I guess you heard about the fight then…” She said just above a whisper. “It was rather sudden, so I wasn’t able to just walk away from them. I thought it was you coming by after the meeting, I wasn’t expecting it to be anyone else. I should have checked though. I shouldn’t have just opened the door.” She had been a foolish person to think that she could relax just because she was outside the castle. She could have exposed herself, and then what? Her family would be disgraced, and her father would have disowned her. She moved a hand up to her face and cover her eyes, an overwhelming feeling came over her that she hadn’t felt in a long time and the need to cry was tempting her, but Estellé never cried. So instead, she just hide her gaze from Henry’s, not wanting to see his disappointment in her.

Stray was glad to hear that their Captain seemed to overall be pleased with how things where going. He agreed for the most part, minus the ...room situation. Chaos had taken a far less liking to it in the beginning, but Stray had an uncanny feeling that Chaos would grow to like the arrangement. Stray had taken notice the first night that Cain and Alex went out to find other soldiers to play poker with. Chaos would have joined them had it not been for the pissin' and moanin' he did about the room situation. Surely, Chaos would learn to let go of that and join in on the game nights. Stray didn't exactly agree with the poker games, but it was also not something that went against anything either. Other soldiers often played but never actually bet anything. Unless it was strip poker. Oh god he hoped that would never happen between the three. Just thinkinga bout it gave Stray a headache. Stray could see that Chaos was about to speak up on how he didn't like the room situation, so instead, Stray spoke up for the both of them. "Everything is going well, Captain. Cain is listening and doing fairly well with whatever task I give him whether it be training or chores." Of course Cain did complain as he would do the chores, but it was just complaining. He still did them. So far Stray really didn't have to tell Cain, no. That was a good thing. From what he heard telling Cain no was never a good idea.
Chaos shot Stray a glare when Stray butted in on him before he could give his opinion. Though he actually did realize why he had done it. "Alex is also doing fairly well. It's working, this line up is." Chaos had taken it rather easy with Alex, no real reason given. They only had a day to work together so far, and Chaos just didn't want to test his limits too much and end up getting removed from this project. Sure he did things his own way, but he always did manage to get them done one way or the other. The twins saluted then and excused themselves and left. "I suppose we should make sure Alex and Cain are up, huh? It might be amusing though to see them miss breakfast." Chaos grinned as he chuckled. He was still annoyed he had to wake up a little earlier than normal for this stupid quick meeting. It was exactly that, stupid. It wasn't needed! Just to say that things were going well and just to hear if they had any improvements. Stupid.
"Yes we will make sure they are up. And you know damn well that missing breakfast isn't going to help them nor us. I don't want to hear Cain complaining that he missed breakfast. I'm sure it'd be much of a whine and he wouldn't stop." Stray sighed as he shook his head. "You know, I often think you just live for drama." Stray chuckled a little as they soon reached their door. Stray and Chaos soon entered into their room. Stray walked over to Cain's bed. "Cain, get up. Breakfast is being served shortly."
Cain mumbled a bit, trying to shoo Stray away. "Too early." He felt a shove on his shoulders and then his covers being taken off of him. Cain slowly sad up, glaring at Stray. "You're an ass." Cain stretched as he finally swung his feet over the bed. He slept in just his boxers. He went to his uniform that he was suppose to wear and slowly started to put that on.
Chaos couldn't help but laugh when Cain mentioned to Stray that he was an ass. Chaos could agree on that. Nearly every morning, Stray had to wake Chaos up. At least Cain didn't get punch. There were many mornings where Stray often hit or punched or something, to get Chaos up. Chaos walked over to Alex's bed. "Time to wake up!" He spoke fairly loud. He had a feeling that Alex was not one that would like to get up in the morning. He could relate. If Chaos could, himself, he'd probably sleep the day away. As children only reason he was up early was because he wanted to go and find a new adventure for that day. A new way to get into trouble perhaps. Here, in the military, he hadn't gotten much of a chance to ever sleep in. If he did he didn't get breakfast and for him that was far worse. He'd rather have something in his stomach than just getting an extra hour of sleep.

Alex heard one of the two redheaded twins nearby him attempt to wake Cain. He was taking things better than what Alex expected, when the best insult was that Cain called him an ass. He knew that waking Cain could be much more of a difficult act than what it seemed... especially after a night he spent drinking. He assumed it was Chaos who yelled next to him on the other hand he just rolled on his side turning his back to the direction he heard the voice come from.
He had nothing against the twins, honestly, his issue was that he didn't want to be here .While Cain adopted the attitude that it should be considered a game, Alex wanted nothing to do with it. If he missed breakfast fine, he would have a reason to pass out later and then he could spend time in the infirmary. He would not, absolutely would not, act in such a savage manner as what he saw the others do the day before. For those, whom their lively hood depended on it, he would not blame it, but Alex valued his brain far more than his brawn. Those who wanted to could roll around in the mud and dirt.

Amelia nodded her head. "Yes, there is a door." Amelia replied not thinking much of it. When Clovis mentioned that if Thomas would ever peep for her to let him know. Her face blushed a little, she knew Clovis probably wouldn't think much on it, but only if he knew. Of course Thomas had peeped by now! She allowed it! And she saw everything of his too. Thomas was what made being here bearable. She hated how she couldn't just tell Clovis, but she didn't want to risk giving up what she had here. "I heard about that too, about Catherine. I don't think anyone else here would be foolish enough to do such a thing. Touching a noble is one thing but to touch a royal, well I don't think they'll do that." Unless it was agreed upon, that is. And oh it was.
Amelia smmiled and nodded her head. "I would like being able to train with others, well mainily you. Though I don't know if we'll still be trained in the same when it comes to weapons. I have a lot of issues when it comes to swords. The crossbow, well it just connects with me." Amelia frowned as she gave a sigh. It wasn't like she'd be able to worry about that. Besides, if she stayed one on one with Thomas, that was completely fine too. She didn't really want to get to know the other soldiers or nobles. From what she saw she'd rather have stayed living in her own world with Clovis, and well now Thomas.
Amelia walked along side Clovis as they headed towards the dining hall. Amelia tilted her head when she looked over at the soldier that Clovis mentioend about the little rumor. "The most terrifying soldier? You think?" She watched the soldier continue on his way. "Maybe, but...he looks so...young. I don't think it'd really be him, do you? Though I suppose looks can be deceiving." Amelia thought trying to think of why that guy would be part of that rumor.
Chaos frowned as he placed a hand on his waist for a moment as he watched Alex. He wasn't going to wake up with ease. Was this what Stray had to deal with when he tried to wake Chaos up? "Go on ahead, Stray. I'll meet you in the dining hall soon." Stray and Cain soon left which left Chaos and Alex. Chaos decided he'd play Alex's little tough game of not wanting to wake up. "You know this was my bed." He couldn't help but to say as he went ahead and climbed into it, laying down next to Alex. "I know just how comfy this bed can be. More often than not I didn't wake up on time either cause of it. But you know, if you're going to stay in this bed, I'm going to stay right here too. You wont be getting rid of me that easy. We'll miss breakfast and we'll still have to train. That doesn't that much fun, now does it?" Of course it wasn't fun, but Chaos had done it multiple times because he had choosen sleep over food. It sucked. If he missed breakfast becasue of Alex not wanting to wake up, he'd end up taking it out on the noble.

Thomas saw Amelia walking with Clovis and began towards the dining hall himself, he began to plan on what his training regiment for today would be for Amelia. If she kept up her current rate of progress she'd out shine him in her ranged weapon skills "Good morning Lord Clovis, I see your doing well your training." he said in a friendly voice, "Amelia is doing quite well herself, especially in on the range." he added in a proud tone as he began walking next to them. Once they reached the hall he allowed them to sit together while he took his seat at the officers table, as he ate he thought about the point when this experiment ended and wondered what he would do then. He really didn't want to see leave but knew she would have to, if only there were there was some way he could join her.

He had not expected his trainer to act that way at all. To crawl up into the bed. Normally people would get mad and or frustrated, scream, rant, and eventually storm off. But no... he seemed to be placed with someone, he already determined was not normal. No one normal crawls onto/into the bed of a complete stranger like that.
"I'm the big bad wolf," He muttered finally when something came to mind. It was a joke of a thought he had yesterday, but thought it was good for this moment. "I will not be blamed if you fail to heed my warning. I may prefer females, but I am not against lying with males either. If you are not careful your actions will be taken as an invitation." His voice was groggy and he didn't move keeping his back to Chaos. This was not a statement he made often. Most, normal men, did not like the idea that he did not mind gender. He did not consider Chaos normal, but he expected that his reaction would be the same.
"I am not going to be subjected to the torture that you call training. I don't care if I eat or not. I am not going to learn the skills of a barbarian." he paused thinking about his words a moment. If he had been more awake he would have considered the possibility of his words being offensive. But he was in a sour mood and the odd, odd, man in his bed did not help the situation.
