Harmony had finished eating and realized that so had Catherine. She didn't fail to notice that Catherine had not eaten much, but knew that no matter what she could not pressure the noble to do anything. Harmony would keep an eye on her and make sure that she would be okay for the day, and figured that given some time she would probably grow hungry and eat a little more. Realizing that they had pretty much met the point that both were done Harmony and her cleaned up their plates. On the way out, Harmony grabbed a couple of apples, with a swift movement the most others would not notice and placed them in her pocket.
Harmony was taking Catherine back to her room and as they walked they approached a commotion in the hallway. She felt a pit in her stomach as she grew closer and closer to the twin's room. It didn't happen often, but Harmony knew what was likely going on. Sure enough they approached Harmony's worse fears were confirmed and she let out a very unlady like curse. "Fuck!" she yelled. "One moment Catherine." she muttered and pushed herself through to the main area where both men were fighting.
"You idiotic dumbasses!" she curse and some how managed to grab them both and pull them apart. She did not do so unscathed, each landing their blows, but her focus was breaking up the fight and effectively putting herself between them. "There is nothing to see here." she yelled to the others that had gathered to watch. She turned her gaze on both the twins. She had a hunch what started the fight, for the twins did not fight often, unless one reason. "Chaos come with me." she spoke grabbing him and pulling him along with her.
Alexander was stunned when Stray came in carrying a tray for both of them. He was also more surprised when the twin took one look, and forcefully dragged his brother out of the room. Alex tried to prepare himself for the day. He dressed, took a few bites of his food and wondered what was taking so long, and then he heard the commotion outside and opened the door. to His dismay he saw that the twins were fighting and a red-headed woman had effectively put herself between them and shooed everyone away. Figuring that he was not needed he was about to shut the door when he looked up and saw Catherine standing in the hallway. He muttered a silent curse and slammed the door shut, his heart racing a thousand miles a minute. He prayed, she did not see him.
Harmony, in far more sour a mood, walked in silence besides Catherine and dragging Chaos a long behind them. Her only trace of civility was that she gave the woman a couple reassuring smiles, one when she met back up with her and a few more as they walked. They reached Catherine's door and Harmony turned to Chaos.
"Stray has probably cooled off by now, but you know him best, I don't know what you did, I don't really care, but try not to press his buttons..." She paused just long enough to give him a quick big "sister" glare. "And I am sorry Lady Catherine," she spoke realizing how rude she had been to the woman and returning her attention to her.

Stray had nearly froze when he had hit Harmony by accident as she was trying to pry the two apart. He glarred at Chaos with his one good eye, due to his right eye nearly being swellon shut due to the punch. Stray watched Harmony take Chaos and drag him off. Stray dusted himself off a bit as he felt some pains over his body. What a great way for the morning to go. Stray turned and headed back into his room.
Stray entered his room and walked over to Alex. "I clearly understand that you are a noble, Alex. However, stay away from Chaos when it comes to romance. He looks for flings and nothing else. However, he recently got his heart broken, by letting his guard down, and I'm not in the mood to see him have his heart broken again if he ends up falling for you. Let alone, the Captain will not allow this fling to even start. Chaos has more on the line to lose than you do. Do not start whatever it was the two of you where plotting to start." Stray studied Alex and then walked over to the sink and grabed a wash cloth. He dampened the cloth and started to dab around his swellon eye, gently taking care of it. He had calmed down, but he still wanted to make sure Chaos wasn't going to do anything stupid. Let alone, he didn't want Chaos' heart to be broken again. All Alex was going to be was the rebound. Chaos hadn't had sex since got knows when and Stray wasn't about to have the rebound be a noble.
Chaos had thrown a few punches at Harmony before he had realized it was her and not Chaos. Chaos swore in his head when she grabbed him and dragged him away. He was about to protest, but he also knew that was not a good idea with Harmony. He allowed himself be dragged away. He saw Catherine and gave her a smirk of a hello as if nothing happened, but dare not speak. Chaos raised a brow when Harmony let him go and then spoke. "I didn't press his buttons! He walked into our room and then dragged me outside into the hallway. I didn't even utter a word!" He tried to state his weak case. "And don't be giving me that look! I told you I didn't start shit!" He looked back over to Catherine when Harmony spoke to her. Chaos shrugged a bit as if to say he was semi sorry but wasn't going to say it.

Even as annoyed as she was, Catherine's comment brought a smile to her lips. "Lady Catherine, this has nothing to do with the working of the fort," she responded calmly. " This is that the twins got in a tiff, and well yeah.." she spoke calmly with a shrug. " If i didn't interrupt it and the Captain found them, or Lena, the situation would not have ended as cleanly as it did... Likely word will get back to them, but if they are lucky... their punishment would be light." she spoke, directing the last half more at Chaos than Catherine. " Again, I am sorry." She turned to Chaos. " Look, I am not judging alright, but it was stupid to fight in a hallway. You both are guilty. You may not throw the first punch, but Chaos you can just not fight back. I am not singling just you out, but you cannot honestly tell me that you did not press one of Strays buttons." She rubbed her head. __________________________________________________________

When stray came in and talked to him, everything seemed to make more sense. "You are right, He does have more to lose. I tried to tell him the very same thing. You may not believe me, but I tried to talk him out of it. He was determined. " Alex smiled. " He did not disclose the information about his rejection, but it make more sense to me, why he did not back off like I recommended. " He figured if anyone would believe him it would be the twin of the person they were talking about. It was clear then to him that Stray really cared about his brother, he knew the same protective spirit resided in him.
He watched Stray try and clean up the wounds he received from his brother and sighed. "I can help with that if you would like. And don't worry, I will behave, at least for now... "

Stray looked over towards Alex when he spoke up. He was glad to hear that he seemed to understand. He knew Chaos could be quite determined when he found someone that he enjoyed or found quite handsome or beautiful. He was glad it made sense to Alex as well. What shocked Stray was that Alex was actually declining the advances for quite some time. "Chaos gets it in his head that when he sees someone that he likes, he'll do whatever he can to make 'it' happen. I applaud you for warning him and trying to keep him away. I will have a stern talking to him later myself and make sure it gets through his head you're 'off' the market." Stray had continued to work on cleaning the bruise and slight cut around his eye. His knuckles where also a bit bloody and he would need help wrapping them whether he wanted to admit to it or not.
Stray arched his left brow when Alex said that he would behave for now. Stray did not like the last bit of that sentence. It was something for now, but he would have to keep a close eye on the two. "Just, if feelings get developed I need to know. And...sure." Stray took off his uniform top, mainly for the fact that it had gotten dirty and ruined. He couldn't go out and work like that. Stray's body was quite fit, actually he was slightly more toned than what Chaos was due to Stray working out a bit more. There were bruises forming all over his body, though Stray knew Chaos' body was worse than his. Stray walked over and sat down on a chair after grabbing a few bandages more for his knuckles than anything else. "I just care about him. No hard feelings towards you, Alex, just I can get protective. Old habits die hard." Stray had many offers given to him over the years, but he just could not take them without his brother. He had been told he has potential to even become a knight one day if he lost the baggage. How could he do that to his brother?
Chaos gave a grin and another shrug when he caught Harmony looking at him, mainly talking about the punishment that was sure to come. He doubted it'd be that light, but maybe with luck. Stray had a way of talking things down. "I'd be damned not to fight back." Chaos sighed and shook his head. "And I didn't push his buttons." He glared at Harmony, but then choose to lean against the wall. His body ached from the fight and with him no longer focused and caught up in the moment, his body was realizing the pain he was in. His lip had a cut on it from him biting his lip when a punch was thrown. Chaos took a hand and ran it over his mouth, wiping away some blood. He no longer cared if Catherine overheard or not. "You know, this entire noble thing is bull shit." He was now taking the out he could see and that was just to blame the nobles. "Who honestly cares about status symbols? I mean...fuck you know I'd lay down my life for this country. I should be able to fuck whoever I want as long as it is agreed upon." Ah, there it was.

After watching the events play out as he ate he put his dishes away, he had overheard Henry speak and grimaced It seems that our secret is not as hidden as I thought. Perhaps I do need to make plans to move on after this he thought to himself as he walked outside and waited for his student to finish eating If were already discovered the there's no reason to pull back now, the damage is already done he thought to himself as he leaned against the wall.

Lena Komarine Lena watched as Henry rushed off quickly, unsure why the man was so worried about his royal after she mentioned how well he fought in the small little battle. It wasn’t as if Lena would allow the soldiers to kill the royal, and it was good for everyone to build character after a fight. That was how Lena got stronger after each fight she had because she learned from them and improved her strategy…Which mostly ended up sleeping with men to get them to ‘defend’ her from future fights. It certainly benefited her to the point that she was nearly untouchable by her soldiers and everyone more or less respected her enough to not step on her toes. The thought made her hesitate when Oliver approached her and asked if she was waiting for Captain Meinard…Why would she be waiting for him? Her head turned towards his closed office door before an odd feeling of wanting to run away came over her. Lena Komarine wasn’t ever a woman to run away, especially when the prospect of love was on the line. She understood Chaos’ pain too well when she rejected, but would have been the point if she told him she loved the man back just to make him feel good? He would eventually realize she didn’t feel the same, but at this very moment Lena wanted to be with Chaos more than anyone so that the pain in her heart would go away. “Oliver, I don’t think the Captain wants to see me right now actually.” She confessed to him before turning to leave only to be stopped by Henry calling out to her. “What?” She said with raised brows as Henry explained that Markus had a fractured rib. “ Huh, must have been from that kick.” She muttered to herself before giving a nod of her head. “Sure, I’ll explain what happened to the Captain, but there’s still a meeting going on so we’ll need to wait…Did you have Markus sent to the infirmary? We have an excellent medic there who makes natural remedies. Last I checked he even had a balm to go on the skin that helps his patients heal. Helped me out more than a few times.” She suggested, letting her concern come through. “In all honesty, your royal was a real brawler though. I didn’t expect anything to be wrong with him other than a few bruises here and there. Has he been fighting before training, or do you have secrets that you aren’t telling?” She asked with a smirk.

Teryn Landri As much as Teryn generally liked Fort Dover, he couldn't say he was looking forward to being posted there again, not with this 'Royal Rangers' nonsense going on. Whoever thought this up should know that trying to get noble children to behave like adults, much less responsible ones, was a waste of time. Unfortunately, orders were orders He'd served under Meinard a time or two before and knew he wasn't a bad man. Teryn wasn't optimistic about anyone's chances of keeping this mess together though. He'd talked his way into getting out of the fort and check the area around fort to make sure that there wasn't any bandits or highwaymen feeling brave or lucky to hang out near the fort. Unfortunately, there hadn't been, so he was back sooner then he would have liked, still he'd avoided the fort for a few days, hopefully that would have the worst of things calmed down. He nodded to the pair of guards at the gate on his way in, deciding he should probably track down the captain to let him know he was back, and see what duties he had in mind for Teryn. He looked a little amused at the gathering outside of the Captain's closed office door. "I see things are staying busy for the captain. Is it as bad as we were all fearing?" He asked the group as he walked up, not really caring who, or really if anyone, answered him. He could feel how tense things were around here.

Catherine hadn't responded to her explanation or her apology and Harmony hoped that she was alright. This was one of the last things they needed to have happen to convince the noble woman to stay. Though Harmony knew that Catherine really did not belong here, she would be sad to see her go. But what was done was done and she knew that she could turn back time. She was not sure she should argue with Chaos about fighting back. She wasn't sure what to say, beyond what did he need to prove and that in reality would distract from the real problem. Which he started talking about on his own. Harmony brought a hand to her face and pinched the bridge of her nose as she listened to Chaos rant. Chaos was not one for tact and or grace, and his language while okay in the presence of fellow soldiers, was not wholly appropriate in front of a noble woman. She regretted her own slip earlier. " Look,Chaos, I understand what you are saying. You have put your life on the line, we all have, and you are right, that if two parties consent then no one should interfere, but that is not how life and society works. Nobility, is nobility, and we are responsible for their safety, their well being, and their treatment. You may not agree with it, and even if they share your opinion, we are expected to hold ourselves in a respectable manner around them. Even if they consent to it, their parents don't, and their parents hold the true power." She watched him, lean against the wall and wipe his lip. " Look, Stray has probably calmed down. You should probably go take care of yourself." she spoke calmly. " Today has barely just begun and you are a mess." __________________________________________________________

Stray did believe him and Alex let out a breath he did not realize that he was holding. He was not sure what he would do if stray came after him like he did his own brother. Alex was fairly sure that he did not hold back any punches against his brother and Alex knew his own skin would not fair well against it. Stray in a way praised him, for trying to push away his brother and Alex sighed, disappointed when he mentioned that he would get it through his head that Alex was "off limits."
"I am not offended," Alex responded calmly. He could understand and respect the love of siblings. Stray, apparently the more rational of the two, obviously cared about his brother. "I understand what you are saying as well, about him likely being on the rebound, I will do what I can to approach the matter with care. " And approach with care he would, at least until Chaos moved past his rebound status. Then if Chaos approached Alex again, he likely would not refuse any advances sent his way.
Alex approached stray, after watching him take off his shirt and pulling out some more bandages. He would not deny that it was a bit of eye candy, but he would not say that to him. He knew that it would likely not be received well at all. So he decided to hold up his offer of helping him treat his injuries. He saw Stray's knuckles and thought that might be what the bandages were for. "would you like help with your hands?" They would not help the bruising, so it was the only thing that made sense.
"But telling Chaos that I am off limits may not be wise. I believe you know him best, you are his brother, would he listen? " Alex doubted he would from the short encounters he had with Chaos, but admitted that he did not know the man. It was an honest and valid question. It was his cowardly nature that kept him from bringing out the other comment he wanted to say, telling Stray that he did not want to be "off" the market. Not that he wanted to on it either. He was not looking for a relationship, but entertainment would be nice to have while he was obligated to be here. He was smarter than to state how he felt. He would do his best not to anger the brother with the well toned body that screamed it could kick Alex's ass with little effort.

Amelia was glad that things where dropped about the whole room incident. Keeping secrets from her big brother was hard. She always told him everything and here she was hiding something that was probably bigger than she beleived it to be. She smiled hearing that Clovis seemed to like the broadsword. She tilted her head when Clovis mentioned the hand to hand combat. "I suppose that would work." She didn't really want to train with the others. Training with Clovis was all right, but the others, no. Why should she? She wouldn't say that though. It seemed Clovis was perhaps willing to train with the others. If that did come though, she might have to play a little and tell Clovis that he should only train with her and not the others. She would see how things would play out though. If she had to get whinny again she would.
Amelia grabbed a tray and enjoyed the meal with small chit chat with her brother. "If I spot him on the field, I will let you know. I still do not think he'd be the one. It's a little silly, don't you think?" Still she knew what she said. Looks could deceive. After awhile, Amelia finished up her meal. "I suppose the day is just about to begin. I should go find Thomas, and I'm sure you'll need to find Joshua." Amelia stood up as she then hugged Clovis. "I'll see you at lunch if not before."
Amelia dropped off her empty tray and then headed out to find Thomas. She found Thomas and smiled as she walked over to him, seeing him leaning against the wall. "Hello, Sir Thomas." She smiled at him. She frowend though a bit noticing that he seemed to be in deep thought. "What is on your mind?"

Chaos was annoyed that Harmony seemed to be agreeing with the statement that nobility and soldiers shouldn't mix. That it was their duty to protect them. That was fine, he did protect them, but when it came to manners of sex it shouldn't matter, should it? Ah, then there it was, the parents were the ones that hold the power. She was right and he hated to admit that she was. Why did nobility have to all be such asses? Sure they were trying to raise their children like good, honest nobles, but they were all adults now. For the most part. Nobles ran the world next to the Royals. They were spoiled brats even as adults. If they did not like something all they had to do was snap their fingers and it would be taken care of.
Chaos gave a defeated like sigh as he then looked back over to Harmony. He smirked a bit and gave a bit of a chuckle. "Damn it, don't make my laugh, it hurts." He had taken the who the day just started and he a mess humorous. "Yea, I probably should, huh? I'll see you around." Chaos left Harmony heading back towards his room.
Stray was glad to hear that Alex seemed rather reasonable. Typically, Stray never would have spoken to a noble the way he had just spoken to Alex. He knew nobles deserved respect no matter the situation and that they were above him. He understood that. Stray nodded his head. "I already washed my knuckles, but bandaging them up...I could use some help." His hands hurt too much to move the way he needed to wrap them up.
Stray looked up at Alex when he mentioned if it would be a good idea or not to tell Chaos. He made a good point. Chaos listened to nobody but himself. Maybe he should stay silent about the issue for now. Doing what he did earlier and getting into a fight was stupid. He knew that. For now it might be enough to have Chaos question his real motives. "You make a rather good point. Chaos listens only to himself. Telling him no or even yes, well, it wouldn't matter much." Stray shook his head. With the help of Alex, Stray was able to get the major injuries tended to. "Thank you, Alex. Also I should apologize about...earlier. I care for Chaos dearly and I would do anything to protect him."

Thomas looked up as Amelia approached "Greetings Lady Amelia, I was just thinking about a few things. " he said with a forced smile, "We can discuss that while we see to you morning routine, I was wanting to split your training today between the crossbow and a some sword work. The crossbow is fine at a range but should the enemy close on you then a blade will serve you better." he added as they began to jog. Once they were out of earshot he quietly spoke "I fear our arrangement may draw suspicion, We will have to be ever more careful." he said in a quiet tone, "We are both very close to ruin, we will both suffer the price should we be discovered." he added in a concerned tone as he kept a watch out for Clovis as he knew she and Amelia liked to jog together. "If we are to have a future it will have to be away from this place, till then we have to keep our relationship's appearance as teacher and student." he said in a even tone.

Amelia nodded her head when he mentioned that he would discuss what was on his mind as they started their morning routine. She frowned though when he mentioned that their training today would be split between the crossbow and sword work. She did not like sword work at all. She sighed as she gave a nod in agreement though. What he said did make sense. Still, swords seemed a bit savage for a female. "Do I really have to learn the sword though? I'm much better when it comes to the crossbow." Amelia pouted a little.
Amelia followed Thomas out to the training grounds and started to jog along side him. She slowed down a little when he mentioned that their little arrangement might be noticed. She was the princess, around here couldn't she just pull some of her own weight if they did get into trouble that things were just fine between them? No...she saw what Meinard did. He would do something to hurt Thomas. If that ever did happen she would see to it that Meinard paid dearly. "What would have tipped them off to us though?" She frowned as she looked up at Thomas. She thought they were doing quite a good job of showing that there was nothing between them. She only touched him or any of that sort when their door was closed. "If anyone does try to keep us apart I'll just see to it that they lose their jobs. I'm not going to stay away from you, you know."

With an even tone he replied to her first comment "Very well, at least let me teach you to use a dagger to defend yourself. Consider it an accessory to go with your uniform." he said as he kept pace with her, "I've seen some very nicely crafted blades being sold by the merchants that have stopped at the fort." he added before lowering his tone to reply to the more serious matter. "The fact I provided you your current housing without the captain's permission." he said not looking to her, "I appreciate you willingness to make heads roll but this needs to be handled with more subtlety, as long as we make sure to not make a scene they won't be able to do anything." he added trying to keep a confidant tone. "When you leave I plan to leave with you, I'm not sure how just yet but together we will make it happen." he said in a soft but determined tone while they were still far enough away to not be heard.

"A dagger hm?" Amelia thought for a moment and then nodded her head. "All right. I can handle a dagger. How do you know when a blade is crafted nicely or not?" Amelia tilted her head as she thought all blades where basically the same. Some larger and heavier and the others shorter and lighter. Some had fancier hilts she also knew that. The rest though, she had little knowledge on. She didn't need to know more than what she thought she knew.
"Oh, well the housing situation was innocent to start with." Amelia looked at him with a slight smirk. "Though does the Captain always have to be informed when there is the slightest change in things?." What Amelia spoke was the truth. At that time there was nothing else going on between them. It was all innocent with what was being questioned. She gave a sigh when he told her she couldn't do things to make heads roll. "Sounds like a plan then." Her eyes widen as he spoke that he was planning to leave with her whenever she got out of here. This made her quite happy. If she could have she would have hugged him, but knew that was not an option, at least not at the moment. "Why don't I have you knighted then and have you serving as my own knight. I am sure my father will be all right with that."
