Chaos was glad to see that Lena calmed down. As she led the way to her room, he made sure to follow behind at a distance. Chaos was more than happy as Lena moved in on him. As his jacket fell he moved his hands on her jacket and worked to take hers off as he would return her kisses and many more. Chaos stopped the kissing when she asked about Elizabeth. "Are you really going to go there right now?" He arched a brow and then shook his head. "It all depends on what one is looking for. You are beautiful, stunning, and your personality is exceptional. Elizabeth is also beautiful but in a different way. In a way that she quite literally would only be a one night stand." Chaos wasn't good with this kind of thing. "If I had to personally choose, which I have kind of been put in that situation." He grinned. "I would choose you and always you, over the she-devil." He spoke that as he looked into Lena's eyes.
After a moment or two, Chaos then finished taking of Lena's jacket and soon worked on her belt and pants. "You know, Lena. I'm not sure how much it means coming from someone like me, but in all honesty, I have never been more attracted to anyone in this way, but you." That was perhaps Chaos' way of saying he really like Lena, but without the actual words to have any strings. He knew Lena wasn't his. They were just friends with benefits, that was it. Still, it hurt when she doubted herself. The way she spoke though, about being jealous of Elizabeth, asking Chaos if she was prettier. Well, it only made him think that perhaps Lena wanted something more as well. Chaos pulled Lena close to him as he kissed all over her upper body as his arms held her close to him.

Thomas grinned at Amelia's reply even if she was putting up a strong front again "Perhaps after this adventure they'll have to rewrite your file, I'll be quite happy to attach my own letter that will speak of your nature." he said evenly as he set the cup down on the small shelf after wiping it out, "But in the end what matters is not what some paper says about you but what those close you think about you that matters. My own file has more than a few unkind notes, not that I care" he added before looking over to see the event between Lady Cathrine and her attacker. "No Lady Amelia, it is not normal for for nobles to do that. He'll find that such behavior is not welcomed here, the captain will most likely inform him of this in no uncertain terms." he said in an unamused tone before looking to Clovis, "Greetings lord Clovis, I hope the change-up in pairings has made things somewhat better for you." he added in respectful tone.

Lena Komarine Lena frowned slightly as Chaos asked if she was ‘really going there.’ Didn’t she have a right to know what he thought about in regards to who was more beautiful? The adjectives he used to describe her beauty made Lena smile, but she found herself making a disgusted facial expression when he spoke about Elizabeth being beautiful in her own right. She had no right to be beautiful. She was a demon in disguise. However, when Chaos mention that he would, and always will, choose Lena over her mortal enemy, Lena smile in triumph and gave him a peck on the cheek as he removed her jacket.
When his hands began working on her belt and pants, Lena moved her hands to his pants as well to keep up with him. Then Chaos opened his mouth once again and had Lena looking up at him with confusion for a moment. “Are you trying to get on my good side? Because you should know by now that you don’t have to.” She said in response. She wasn’t sure what Chaos meant by saying he was attracted to her more than anyone before, but figured it was an attempt at cheering her up. She was rather fixated on comparing herself to Elizabeth when she should actually be focusing on the man who was undressing her.
He pulled her in closer, and she found herself losing her footing as he began kissing her all over. Before she meant to, she was pushing Chaos and herself onto the bed behind him. She laid on top of him, kissing his neck as his words went to the back of her mind to be forgotten. To Lena, Chaos was someone she could truly be herself with, and someone she knew she could trust in a world full of lying men. Captain Meinard was number one in her heart, but that didn’t mean that Chaos wasn’t somewhere in there too. She leaned up and kissed Chaos tenderly, pushing all thoughts to the back of her mind to focus on the man with her. When she pulled away, she looked down at him and stared at his eyes for a rather long moment. “I think I enjoy your eyes more so than anyones.” She said softly to him before pushing a hand on his hair to move it out of the way so she could see his eyes better. She gave a proud smile before a nod. “Yep. They’re the best.” She giggled.

"I'm not worried about being your good side, Lena. Just speaking from what I know." Chaos smiled softly as he was pushed to the bed with Lena on top of him. Oh by the Gods was she beautifully striking. In the beginning things weren't as complicated as they were now. Chaos developed feelings for her and knew he shouldn't have. He was being led on by her and he worried if she only spoke such things because there were no such things attached to the two of them. It hurt and he had no idea how to express his real feelings for her. Thus, he just kept them to himself and kept their benefits the way they always had been. Chaos smiled contently when she moved his hair out of his eyes so she could see them better. He held onto her words, savoring them. He wondered if she ever said that to anyone else or if she truly felt what she spoke. Without much of another thought, Chaos found himself saying the words, "I love you, Lena." Chaos had never told Lena that before. Let alone, he had not been expecting himself to actually say those words. Hopefully, Lena would just be caught up in the moment and ignore what he had said. That, or think that he was just loving the moment. To help with it, Chaos continued to kiss and nipple a little, as if nothing had happened.

Lena Komarine ”What?” Lena found herself asking, the words that Chaos just said were suddenly jumbled in her brain as he lips touched her skin. She pulled away though, and sat on top of him half naked. “Whoa whoa whoa.” Lena ran off the words as her eyes widened and her hands rose up in a defensive way until they found their way to her hair and gripped at locks. Her mind raced with the few words Chaos said to her, and she couldn’t slow down for a moment as she began moving off of him until she was sitting beside him on the bed with her back pressed firmly against the wall. “You just said…” She still couldn't comprehend what was going on, but knew that one of their guidelines had been broken.
Finally after a few minutes of thinking things over, she looked back over at Chaos. “You aren’t supposed to say that.” She said to, letting him know through her tone of voice that she was confused and upset. “And you can’t just say that and pretend you didn’t.” She frowned at him before looking away and moving her fingers to rub at her scalp as a headache was beginning to form. “Did you not mean it? Is that why you played it off? If so, that’s such a mood killer.” She let out a huff before lowering her hands as her face softened. “Or…did you really mean what you said?” She looked at him with a mix of emotions and thoughts spinning around in her eyes. “So, explain it to me. Were you joking or not? Lie or truth? You can’t say something like that and expect me to overlook it.” She said sternly.

She did notice he said it. Chaos sighed as he sat up. He slid his feet over the side of the bed as they touched the floor. He rubbed the back of his neck, wondering how he should go about this. Of course he knew he broke one of their rules. He didn't mean to. Chaos turned his head to look over at Lena. She really was confused by all of this. Poor girl. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said it, but..." Chaos let himself trail off in his own thoughts for a few moments. "It's the truth, Lena. I may be an ass at times, I know that. However, I always speak what it is I am feeling. You should know that by now." He locked eyes with her. "I meant it, honest to God. I love you, Lena." Chaos had debated about just letting it go and having Lena be upset with him, but for him to hid his emotions was not something that was easy for Chaos. When Chaos was mad he punched or called the idiot out. Even the Captain. When he was happy, he always held the goofy grin on his face and played along with the soldiers. Chaos shifted his gaze once more this time to the floorboards. "It's been for sometime that I have had these feelings, Lena. I've been suppressing them, but...it keeps getting harder to." He looked back to her. If she had asked him to stop fooling around with any other soldiers, he would. If she asked him to stop drinking completely, he would. He would do anything for Lena. He hoped he had not read her signs wrong though.

Lena Komarine He meant it…He meant it?! Lena moved her knees up to her chest and allowed her head to fall down on them to rest there as she closed her eyes shut and moved her hands down from her head to her ears. She never noticed it. She never saw his feelings for her, and she wished she had paid more close attention so she could have ended things between them then. Not now, not when she needed someone to back her up with Elizabeth in town threatening the fragile relationship she and Meinard had. Why did Chaos have to love her? What was there to love? She had looks, but her true personality was twisted and uncomprehendible at times even for her.
So what was she supposed to do now? The first reaction was to reject him outright and end their friendship, but she didn’t want that. She needed someone on her side, and although it was selfish, it was who Lena was. Sure, she liked Chaos for being a simpleton, but she didn't think about him the same way she thought about Meinard. Meinard had marriage potential, wisdom, and a cool persona the likes of which not many Captains could obtain…Chaos was a soldier. He was strong, but he wasn’t a lieutenant, drank too much, fooled around too much…He was chaotic like the name suggested. She couldn’t settle down with that…
She raised her head up to look at him, and she moved her arms around her legs to wrap around them. “I didn’t even notice…” She said softly to him. “I couldn’t even tell you had such feelings for me. I thought you were just…I’m not even sure now what I thought.” She looked away and dropped her gaze to the ground. “I…I haven’t thought about you like that before. Sure, the sex is amazing, but outside of this bedroom we aren’t exactly compatible…You’re rash and fool around too much, and I have to always stay within the lines to keep order around here. People depend on me…” She turned her head back to Chaos and gave him a gentle smile. “If you were more of a leader then I may have considered it, but…” Her smile disappeared. “I don’t feel the same for you. I care about you, a lot, but to go from being friends one moment and then beyond that the next is a bit out of my grasp…”
She was being honest with, after all it was the least she could do. If only he was more of a commander. If he showed potential to grow and become better than the soldier people laughed at when he screwed up…Someone who didn’t have a target on his back for talking back to the Captain…But that wasn’t Chaos. Chaos was who he was, and Lena loved that about him, but she knew she wouldn’t be happy if they went beyond friendship…And now they were going to lose that. How could he stay friends with her after being rejected?

Chaos watched her. It was clear that she was deep in thought. He lowered his head a bit when she spoke. He should have known better. A fool, that was exactly what he was. Many soldiers and higher ups often called him that. Oh how it rang so true right now. A lump had formed in his throat that he cleared away a few times as it kept returning. It hurt, it all hurt. She wanted a leader. Someone, something that he was not. He could try to change and he often thought about trying to because of Stray, but he couldn't. That was not him.
Chaos ran a hand over his face downward. Then he rubbed the back of his neck again. "I...I'm sorry." Chaos did not wan to say what he was going to but once more his mouth spoke before he could figure things out. "I...I think fooling around like we have been should stop." He looked over at her. "I will always be your friend, Lena. Understand that. However, I can no longer have a relationship with you that involves sex. Friends and only friends." He stood up and walked over to his clothes slowly putting them back on.
After Chaos' clothes where back on he looked over at Lena once more with a soft, and still a gentle smile upon his lips. "I will always care about you, Lena. I don't want that to change. All that should change is just us not having sex any longer. Fair enough?" He forced out a goofy grin. He was hurting, and it was probably seen in his eyes, but he wasn't sure how to act with this. He hadn't hurt like this before it was different. He also didn't want to lose the friendship with her. Whether it was because of her status and her backing him up just as much as he would always back her up, or what. "Come on, dinner should be starting soon enough. If we're the first ones there we get first pickings." This time his grin was true and not forced.

Lena Komarine She wished he didn’t apologize while looking so sad because it broke her heart. If only she could have said she felt the same back, but what good would that do? She looked away from him as he suggested what she was already planning to play out. They couldn’t be intimate anymore, and it was going to be for the best. Having heard Chaos say the one thing Lena could never quite spit out to Meinard made her jealous of him, but it also made her realize that she needed to become a more serious candidate to Meinard. She was her happiest in his presence, and she wanted him all to herself…However, it was unlikely that her future husband didn’t hear about her somewhat promiscuous behavior, and if she wanted to show her seriousness she would be ending all sexual behavior effective immediately.
Her eyes looked up to Chaos after he finished dressing and talked about going to dinner. He wanted to remain friends, but Lena didn’t feel like she deserved that yet. “Go on ahead, I’ll catch up with you later.” She smiled, lying to him until he left her room and she was alone. She needed time to think to herself, and to plan her next move to show Meinard that she was serious about him. For a female to pursue a male, it would be a difficult task without seeming like she wanted him just for sex since all men tended to think that way. Despite how much she adored the Captain, he was still a flawed human male that generated stereotypes about proactive women. She would have to be careful and thoughtful about how she spoke and approach him.
Asking him to dinner would be too straightforward, but stopping by for a drink and to listen to him vent would prove she was able to listen without judging…However, if he ended talking about Elizabeth again and how her father was forcing him to marry the devil then Lena may have to put in her two cents about what he should do. She would also have to get him to understand that there was no one else in the world he would rather want to be with than her, and there was no true easy way to do that other than making it so that he missed her when she was gone…
Her eyes slowly looked up at her desk where her writing tools were for when she got around to her report. If she made a note in her report that the other Captain was looking into having her transfer over to work for him, maybe then she could be seen by Meinard as a valuable asset that he needed. She was one of the more responsible lieutenants he had at this god forsaken base camp anyways, and she was great and getting things done. That’s it. She could see a chessboard right in front of her and the pieces beginning to move. Meinard’s king represented his heart, and Lena was determined to take it by any means necessary.

Harmony Adams-----------------Harmony watched the scene unravel before her, when the “woman” groped Catherine. She watched in horror and shock as the young woman she didn’t think had a single aggressive bone in her body smack the man across the face. The resounding slapping sound was enough that those who didn’t witness the event happening in the courtyard were able to notice it then. She watched as Catherine square her shoulders and, with more will than she had seen in many woman she had met in similar situations, walk away with what dignity she felt she still had. Harmony realizing that no one else seemed to feel the urge to make sure the woman was okay, everyone focused on the offender, and muttered a silent curse. Men! She grumbled, and followed after where she saw the woman disappear inside the building. She found her near the infirmary leaning against the wall dealing with her own internal battle. A battle Harmony herself knew too well. “ Follow me.” she muttered and with great care not to grip too hard pulled Catherine to her own room. She did not speak, knowing that there was likely nothing that she would want to hear. Knowing from experience, that there is nothing that anyone could say until you processed and dealt with these emotions themselves. She pulled out the chair with her desk not sure if Catherine would prefer to sit there or on her bed. “ Make yourself at home,” She muttered. “ I’ll be in the hall...” She added before shutting the door to her own room giving Catherine what she was sure of was much needed alone time. When Catherine did what she needed to regain her composure Harmony realized she would at least teach the woman how to pull a proper punch. But this way, the girl could cry if she need and no one, not even Harmony would know or be able to report it to the captain. She waited outside her room for two reasons. One to make sure that Catherine was alone for as long as she wanted or needed to be. Two to make sure that if anyone came looking for her they knew where she was and that they did not interrupt her. ----------------------------Alexander Essex
Alexander stood there stunned with his hand to his cheek for several moments after the whole fiasco with Catherine just went down. He accomplished his first task, making the scene that everyone would remember, but he failed, failed miserably from staying as far away from that woman as he could.
How did it end up like this. He did not think that she would be the one wearing the uniform of a soldier. Oh no, that was beneath any noble morals that was raised properly So why would he suspect that she would be wearing it. If he had of thought it possible he would not have touched her intentionally. It was her clothing that lead him into a sense of false security. And she called him a Cad. A CAD. Of all the insults he had suffered in his existence that one stung the most.
The last thing in the world he would be would be insensitive and uncaring, he would not deny his selfishness, but he was not cruel. He did not know which god was orchestrating what was happening, but they had a cruel sense of humor for the few times he acted out on his impulses it seemed to be at the expense of the poor noble woman. He did not plan this at all, but from the anger she admitted he did not think she would listen if he tried to explain.
It was really a sour situation. No only did he molest this woman, it as a woman that had made it clear she wanted nothing to do with him. The young lady that has acted out in violence against him not once but now twice. It left a sickening lump in the pit of his stomach. That was twice he was wrong and twice that he would out of his own pride battle with the fact that he would not apologize but she rightfully deserved one.
In his thoughts he barely recognized that A well decorated soldier introduced himself and started this long spiel about something that he didn’t really care to listen to at the moment. In reality it sounded like a lot of gibberish compared to his thoughts.... Blah-ba-blah -ba-blah...
But one threat did seem to break through the fuzz. He was warned by the captain that he was not to touch Lady Catherine, or any of the other residents of this encampment and if he did again or the consequences would be drastic. He bit the inside of his cheek. He acted like this was a regular occurrence for him, He knew that both he and Catherine never spoke a word about the previous incident. Cain was far too drunk to remember...
Yes he did enjoy the company of others but his actions typically tended to be in private quarters. He did not force himself upon anyone, his love was freely given to those who freely accepted it. Lustful, impulsive actions rarely happened, mostly when he drank way too much and the two times he could easily remember, were the two most painful situations he could happen to remember. The only reason he groped someone in public today was to set others off. To his amusement he saw that it worked.
“I will not repeat the offence with Lady Mason again,” He responded when it became apparent that the Captain wanted a response. He would not explain that he knew that the cost was too high, a vase to the head the first time he had wronged her, and this slap were more than enough for him to not want repeat the experience a third time.
But he did not promise in regards to others. It would be pointless, he had no interest in keeping that promise, not with how many loopholes he found standing there and thinking for a few minutes. Though the captain did do better than most with restricting the methods he could do without disrespecting him out right.
But he found something else entertaining about the situation. If this was how riled he was with just one incident, he could not deny it might be a little fun to press the captains buttons. He did not doubt the Captain could make his life hell, but hey it would be a challenge. He did not fail to notice that the Captain dismissed him. He seemed to have much on his mind if he didn’t call him on what his promised seemed to be missing.
The thought that he might have someone able to stand on par with his wits might be something he would like to see play out on it’s own. That was something only time would tell. There were plenty of soldiers here, surely there would be someone. He sighed and noticed the eyes of several soldiers and nobles looking at him and sighed. “What? You never sen a dress before!?” He snapped and picked up the skirts of the elegant gown. He noted the distrust in their eyes, including the royal siblings and rolled his eyes. Like he would attempt to touch the either of them, that would be stupid on his part.
Feeling depressed he released a sigh and moved to locate the facilities feeling a garment as rich and beautiful as what he wore now should only be worn in good humor. He washed the powder and paint off his face and changed into one more manly outfit before returning back to the court yard. He debated whether or not she should seek out Cain.

Chaos shrugged as he left Lena's room, closing the door behind him. He walked a few feet away before punching the cold, stone brick wall, hard enough to cut his knuckles. Pain throbbed in his right hand, but he didn't care about that pain. There was a new pain he had not dealt with before and that was of heartbreak. He was an idiot to think Lena could ever like him more, but he swore the signs she showed, she was at least a little interested. Chaos sighed as he finally moved his fist from the wall, blood dripping down his hand. He sighed as he slowly started to make his way to the dining hall. On his way though, he saw Harmony standing outside of her room.
Chaos put on his silly grin as he looked at Harmony. "What you hiding something in there? Maybe I should take a peek." Chaos' knuckles where still bleeding and even his voice sounded a bit different than usual. Chaos would have time later to sort through is thoughts of Lena and figure out his next move. If he should still try to stay friends with her or not. He wanted to, truly he did, but he also knew it wouldn't be easy if he didn't have the full reason why. Why wasn't he good enough for her? She said it was mainly because he was not the leader type but piss on that! Didn't she have any real feelings for him at all besides just...what they had? Chaos shook his head as he refocused his thoughts back on Harmony. He had no idea that Catherine had just been harassed by Alex, or that Alex had even arrived.

Harmony Adams-----------------" You will not!" she snapped before she turned to see Chaos. She was too busy processing the words he said to realize that his voice was off. At least until she looked at him. She noticed that his hands were bleeding and that he didn't seem like his normally cheerful self. She sighed. She brought her hand to her hair and looked at Chaos. Something was very wrong she realized when she took in his disheveled appearance. "I'm sorry," She muttered. " Are you alright?" She bit her lip. She had a fondness for the twins since they reminded her regularly of her own siblings. Seeing him not quite on par was something she realized that she was not to fond of. She had far to many moments if she spent too much time around them that she fought the urges of a mother hen. "My room is currently being used, but you have my ears if you need them."
She remembered the old saying, when it rains it pours. Today was definitely one of those days it seemed.

"Heh, I will not huh?" Chaos grinned as he really did try to be his typical self. He shruged a bit as he watched her. "You're sorry? For what? You didn't do anything wrong here." Chaos could guess why she spoke sorry, but to him she did not need to. More often than not things where usually his fault. "Huh?" He looked at her and tilted his head to the side. "Yea, why wouldn't I be all right? I mean, hello, it's me Chaos." He grinned though his words where empty. He gave a sigh when she told him that she would listen if he needed her to.
"Thanks, Harmony, but I'm not even sure what I'm feeling right now. Don't think words can really express it either." He frowned a bit as he leaned up against the wall. "I don't think it's something guys typically talk about either though." He then shifted his gaze from Harmony to her door. "So what's going on here? Did I miss something?" He knew Harmony could easily say the same to him. "My money is that Catherine is in there. Did she chip a nail or something?" He grinned a bit letting his mouth run off once more and perhaps a small hint of normalcy in his voice. "You know, if she stays in there too long, the two of you are going to miss supper. I suppose I could grab two trays though if you'd like." All Chaos wanted right now was a sense of normalcy. A way for him to just forget what had happened earlier between him and Lena. Cain talked with Stray for a bit and asked if he could have some free time since supper was so soon. Stray gave it to him only because Cain did so well today. Cain went to go find Alex. Alex and himself had gone back a few years now. They met at one of Cain's parties. Alex was different, that was sure, but it wasn't a bad different. Alex was a fun guy in Cain's eyes. "Hey Alex!" Cain shouted as he ran over to him. "I'm kind of surprised to see you here! Suppose you aren't on your parents good list either if you're here, huh?" Cain grinned. "From the bit I heard of the Captain not too long ago you are partnered up with Chaos. That's my partner's twin. But enough about them. How have you been?"

Harmony Adams-----------------He didn't want to talk and Harmony sighed. She didn't blame him, especially if he did not really know what he was feeling. " Well the funny thing about ears, is there always attached to a person''s head. So anytime you need to talk. I am here." She answered. She glanced at the door. " It's a little more than a broken nail." she responded. But it's not my place to say. " But you would like to know that your noble had arrived, and he was wearing a dress. " She smiled instead trying to cheer him up. "If you are willing I would appreciate if you would go grab our trays. I won't make you though, if you want we can sit here. We don't have to talk. It would give you something to do besides meeting your partner." She sighed. " He's a real peace of work that one. But maybe you might be the one that could keep him under some control. But you do not have to worry about that until the captain tells you to report for duty." ----------------------------Alexander Essex
"Nope, not happy at all I guess."Alex responded with a smile. "But my mother had to give up one of her precious dresses to get me here. I would have to say that I made my emotions about this ordeal very clear." He sighed. It seems Cain did not notice what happened with his sister or did not care. Alex would not bring it up if he did not say anything himself.
Chaos... He was partnered with a man named Chaos that was a twin... Why did this seem like it would be interesting. He smiled at his friend. "So what am I supposed to do until then?" He sighed. He a lot smarter than people gave him credit for. He knew that he should probably pressing the captains buttons at this point. He thought it was best if he probably kept himself in order for the night. ;

Chaos nodded his head. He was glad that Harmony would be there for him. He knew she would be. Stray, Chaos, and Harmony all had a special bound here. "Little more than a broken nail huh?" He chuckled. He then arched a brow when she mentioned that Alex, his noble that he was suppose to train had come here in a dress. "A dress huh. Interesting. Not my place though on what one chooses to wear. I'm sure I'll run into Alex sooner or later. For now, I'm not that conerned." He shrugged. "I'll get some trays. I'll be back soon."
Chaos left and within the matter of ten minutes or so, Chaos returned with two trays. One for Harmony and one for Catherine. He had no intention of eating supper he really wasn't that hungry. He would just play it off that he wasn't hungry if Harmony asked. "Here ya go. I asked the chef to put on a cheesecake dessert on both of yours. I'll have to help with the dishes though but that's minor. Figured you and Catherine could use a pick me up." He grinned as he handed Harmony her tray.
Chaos leaned his back on the wall once more and this time slid to the ground. He knew Harmony would be the one to bring Catherine her tray so there was no need for him to stand. "Harmony...have you ever been in love before?" He looked up at her. Perhaps he was foolish to ask her, but he had to ask someone. He just hoped she wouldn't tease him about it since he was the one with the reputation around the Fort of being a man whore.
Cain had heard about what Alex did to Catherine and personally found it rather amusing. He didn't care to be honest. Perhaps, if anything, he was a little jealous that Alex got to touch boobs here before he did. Oh well, he was banking on tonight being a gambling night and perhaps he could get cozy with a female soldier. "I hope you took one of the best dresses your mom had to offer." He grinned. He did not mind that Alex choose to dress up in female dresses. He didn't see the point of it, but he saw past it. The way he saw it was that Alex was living it up his own way and having fun. That's what mattered wasn't it? "Well the day basically is wrapping up and it's time for dinner so come on. Follow me to the dining hall. The food here is not the best but it's not the worst either. Just don't expect anything fancy at all. When we're there I'll point out who your trainer is."
