Harmony: ------------------------》¤He chuckled and she did not blame him.. he did not know how much worse it might really have been. He was up and gone before she could say anything else. She knew then he had something on his mind. He came back with their trays and even mentioned that he had negotiated for them to also have a slice of cheesecake. His thoughtfulness made her smile. " Thanks Camui." She muttered and grabbed Catherine's tray. " I'll help with the dishes when matters get settled here." She glance at the door and knocked faintly. " Lady Catherine," she announced before opening the door wide enough to slip the tray in. " Chaos brought your dinner, and I figured when you are ready its here." She spoke calmly and slid no further than what it took for her to place the tray safely in the room. " Do try and eat if you can." It was only her arm that slipped into the room and she pulled it back calmly shutting with a light click. Then she moved back and slid into place beside Chaos. He took that moment and asked her about love. Love huh... that's what this was about. She bit her lip and sighed. " No... I haven't really had that luxury. .." she muttered and looked at her hands. But it seems he did have that luxury and he was hit pretty bad considering he wasn't eating and seemed so down. " I've seen my brothers though, my eldest married last spring..." she muttered and rested her hand against her cheek. " It wasn't easy for him...." she responded calmly. He was opening up and she did not want to discourage the action. She wanted to ask who finally seemed to steal his heart but thought better of it... she just hoped it wasn't Elizabeth, Harmony was sure that that woman at this point and time would chew him up and spit him out... 《《《《《《《《《《Alexander Essex Cain seemed happy to see him to say the least. That helped Alex to feel a little better about himself. He laughed when Cain mentioned his mothers dress. "Indeed, it was what I wore upon my arrival." Alex new Cain had his issues what noble person didn't these days. He just clung to Cain years ago when he was the first of few not to judge him for his interest. Cain pulled him towards the kitchens for their meals and Alex had known that he would for now not complain so long as the food was edible. When Cain pointed out the man who would be his trainer he did not have much to say then either. His first impression was not a horrible one. The soldier seemed a little.... down...or off, but then Alex realized he could be projecting his own emotions on the soldier's face. Ultimately what he was feeling though, was none of his business. He figured he would wait and see how things would turn out later. For now he was interested in seeing what other nobles would be present."So how's Hell?" He asked following his friend in the dining hall.

Chaos shrugged. "Don't worry about helping with the dishes. I'm sure Stray will be helping me anyway." He grinned with a chuckle. He watched Harmony open the door just enough to slide the tray in. "Just...what exactly happened to her?" He meant to keep that question to himself but he hadn't. He knew Harmony was not going to tell him, but he could easily be curious about it at least. What he didn't know was that most of the soldiers where probably gossiping about what happened back in the dining hall.
Chaos shifted a bit when Harmony spoke up about his question. It was a shame that she did not have that luxury, but many soldiers did not. Some already had families before they came into the military and the others, well, most didn't want anything serious. They knew they could die tomorrow. "Not easy for your brother to wed? Was it arranged?" He then shook his head with a shrug. "Pretty sure seeing someone get married though isn't the same thing of actually feeling of love." He grinned a bit still being like his typical self. "Forget I asked."
Stray had finished early in the dining hall and was curious why his brother was not here. Of course his first thoughts where that Chaos was following around and just prayed that it was not with a noble. Thankfully most soldiers here enjoyed to gossip and he heard that Chaos was with Harmony, in her room. He did not think Harmony would lay with Chaos, but that was what they were talking about. He went to see for himself. All rumors held truth, just like they all held some lies. "Forget you asked what?" Stray raised a brow as he looked down at Chaos. He noticed Chaos' right hand was bloody but the blood was no longer fresh. "Did you get into another fight with one of the soldiers?"
Chaos looked up at Stray. Glad to see his twin. He choose to ignore Stray's first question. "Me? Little old me fighting with a fellow soldier! I'm hurt you'd think of that!" Chaos put his left forearm over his forehead. "Woah is me." He grinned as he laughed. "No, I didn't get into a fight." He still chuckled a bit as he saw Stray chuckling from Chaos' actions. "I saw a bug on the wall and thought I'd punch it in the face. The wall won a little." He gave a toothy grin.
"Woah is you huh." Stray smirked as he then listened to what he thought would be the real explanation, but clearly it wasn't. "I doubt you'd hit the wall with your fist dear brother to squish a bug. Unless that bug did something to fully piss you off." Stray looked over to Harmony as if asking without a word if she knew anything about this.
Cain grinned upon hearing that Alex had taken one of the best dresses his mother had, and that he wore it here. It was a shame they could not see his mother's face upon his arrival here to see her lovely dress in such a filthy place. "Hell isn't too bad." Cain shrugged as he stood in line and grabbed a tray full of food. "Honestly, if you treat it like a game it isn't that bad." What part of Cain's life wasn't seen as a game to him? "I think you'd be surprised to know that the Prince and Princess are actually here." He took a seat once they had gotten their food. "Clovis was paired up with Chaos at first, but Chaos seems to run his mouth off. He ended up pissing off Clovis from what I heard. I didn't get to see it sadly though. I was busy watching Elizabeth with Stray. She was sure showing Stray that she's smarter than anyone here." Cain chuckled.
Amelia gave a short giggle when Thomas mentioned he'd have to rewrite her file. "Honestly, I do not care if you rewrite my file or not. I'm sure what is in my file holds some truth. Most people give me a reason to hate them. You started to at first. Thought you were out to get me. Most are. Most don't care about me nor my brother. They do not understand that we are royalty." Amelia did not feel like a royal here though. Which was odd. She felt like an equal and Thomas was treating her as such. But not in a way that would harm her. He still held her best interests so she would not get hurt. "I think I'd like to read your file. It isn't fair you got to read mine and I haven't read yours." She smirked. She was glad the day was finally settling down so she could enjoy supper and then take a nice long bath. Perhaps afterwards she would dress up in one of her fine, glorious, outfits. She did feel rather dirty at the moment.
Amelia was glad to hear that Clovis was fine and that his trainer seemed to be working out for him. "I'm glad that you and this new trainer of yours seems like a good pairing." She was jealous of that though. As long as she was Clovis' number one though she would be all right for the most part. Amelia looked over at Thomas when Clovis asked about him. Her gaze fell back on her brother. "I'm doing all right. And no, he isn't rude at all." She whispered back. "Honestly...he's different if that makes any sense." She tilted her head as she thought about how to describe Thomas. "Oh! I used this crossbow here and I even hit the center of my target." She couldn't help but brag a little. She was quite proud of herself. Especially with the reward she was going to be getting. She dare not tell her brother though that she was going to be trying some wine later.

Who Am I Really? Henry repeatedly spoke the name that Markus wished he could sometimes forget. It sent little pains at his heart, and caused him to frown at the other man until he turned his head and side. “Do what you want.” He grumbled, not letting Henry know how conflicted he truly was about his identity. If Henry started calling him Estellé when it was just the two of them, Markus wasn’t sure how much he could take of it. He rubbed a hand at the back of his neck as he thought about it before the idea of dinner coming up. It felt like Markus had just eaten not too long ago, and so he hadn’t even considered eating again.
His blue eyes flicked up to see Henry carefree and happy as usual despite the words he said that caused him to frown further. “I know I’m supposed to be a noble brat…However, isn’t it a bit unfair to the captain to continually disrespect him? I’m afraid he may snap from the frustration. I wouldn’t want to be the cause of that.” He explained before fixing the gloves on his hands. “Perhaps it might be wise to explain to the captain I’m a knight from the castle…Still, I fear that he may be upset from it more so because I won’t be able to portray respect to him in public. My, this is a tricky situation.” He mused to himself more than Henry before finally looking back at his friend. “Let’s go eat.” He said before following Henry out of the room and through the castle, trying his best to remember the layout of the camp, but failing with each turn they took.
Lena Komarine Lena had managed to leave her room fully dressed after plotting the demise of Meinard’s heart a bit longer, but soon she came across larger problems. Chores that the royals were supposed to do as a part of their training were being neglected, and mud was being trailed in from the outside as if there were no tomorrow. Soldiers were jokingly asking when someone was going to clean up the place until Lena strolled by and put them to work on it. The dirty hallways were now being mopped, and so she went to the stables to make sure everything was cleaned up there as well. Before long, most of the base got wind that Lt. Komarine was going around making sure that chores were being complete regardless of who had to do it. Satisfied that the soldiers were going into action on their own accord, Lena moved herself into the dining hall where she did phase one of her plan to get Meinard’s heart: bring him food.
She quickly piled up a tray with a little bit of everything before covering it all up and giving a once over the soldiers that were in the room. Some were rightfully avoiding eye contact with her in fear that they may be put on cleaning duty, but Lena was simply doing a head count of how many nobles were in the building. None so far, which made her wonder where they all were if they weren’t out on the training grounds. She ignored the pestering thought in her head that asked where Chaos was, if he had already grabbed a bite to eat or not, before she decided it really wasn’t of her concern anymore. It wasn’t as if she asked the man to fall in love with her…But still she felt a little guilty for hurting him…
With a quiet sigh, Lena made her way to Meinard’s office before knocking on the door and announcing herself with "It's Lena.", and then stepping off to the side to wait for the okay to go in. Unlike the majority of people who happily jumped into the Captain’s office whenever they felt like it, Lena was one of the few that waited outside politely. Especially considering the rough day the Captain was having, he didn’t need another person bursting through his door…Her eyes flicked at the closed door a moment as she recalled that Elizabeth had been sent in there. She wasn’t sure what all the Captain was going to talk with her about, especially given the circumstances in which they needed to talk…A forced marriage would be a dreadful thing, but that didn’t mean Meinard was above it. He said he would use the money for the soldiers, and it was just like Meinard to do so…But what would Lena do if he got married? Her eyes fell down to a spot on the ground as sadness swept over her from just thinking about it.

With a nod Thomas smiled "I understand, we did get of on the wrong foot it seems." he said as he saw people beginning to head towards the dining hall, when she asked about his file he chuckled "Your welcome to look through it, though you'll find it somewhat of a sleeper I believe. Just lots of notes saying that I'm to stubborn for my own good and the like." he added as they approached the dining hall. "Spend some time with your brother and after dinner I'll keep my word to you. You worked hard and so I'll allow you to relax and a bit of fun." he said in a sincere tone, "Just keep in mind that tomorrow will mean more training, so don't over do it." he added before opening the door for them.
Once inside the hall he allowed Amelia and Clovis to sit together as he sat at the officers table and watched over his student. Why is it I'm so drawn to her, she should be nothing more than another solider to train he though to himself. As he ate the warm meal he smiled as he watched Amelia and Clovis talk, he had family of his own but Amelia intrigued him in a way he'd not been since his brief relationship with Tabatha before her death.

Harmony Adams-----------------Harmony looked between him and the door debating whether or not that she should tell him. She knew it was likely he would hear anyways, she just did not like to be one to gossip. Finally she decided after she remembered that Chaos would be taking charge of the one who caused this mess. " Your noble.... He groped her...." she muttered. " You are gonna hear about it anyways I am sure... The only reason I am telling you is that I know you will be the one to keep him from doing it again... You are going to be the one, since you have already been placed by the captain, with the responsibility to teach him that there are boundaries that even nobles can't cross." As the words left her mouth Harmony realized how ironic the situation seemed. It was an odd responsibly to put on Chaos. " No it's not the same is it..." She chuckled in response. " But what I was trying to say was that I have seen through my brother that love is important and should not be taken lightly." She smiled. "I just with everything going on... it's not something that I have had a chance to experience." She responded softly. " As to regard to my brother... well you know the family situation... the father of his bride did not want to let his daughter go until she knew that she could be provided for. He made a jab about my mother working... and well after my mother was done with him... he was quick to consent." She smiled as she spoke. Then Chaos mentioned for her to forget it and Harmony blinked a little surprised. Especially after Stray had wandered into their conversation. She did not fail to notice that the younger sibling seemed to be getting just as much information as she was getting. Though Chaos did give around about answer she realized that she had just as much information that Stray did, with the exception he was asking about love... When Strays gaze landed on her, she shrugged, she could not kick the older of the two while he seemed so down. ----------------------------Alexander Essex
Cain rambled on about the events that had happened with their trainers and what else had happened before Alex had arrive, and Alex listened far more attentive than what he did with the decorated figure that told him off. But Cains rambling told Alex that things were not as planned as he had been first lead to believe. He was not sure if he was disappointed or amused at the revelation.
"Well I see you have been entertained." He responded and followed Cain's actions building a tray of food for himself. He had a lot to consider. Maybe Cain was right, in that he should consider what was happening to be more like a game. That was something he would keep in mind if he ended up not being sent home in the near future.

"He...groped...her." Chaos suddenly burst out laughing. He really could not believe that a noble would do such a thing! Even Chaos had the common sense not to just go around touching boobs every time he saw them! Then again he had learned the hard way when he was a teenager. Stray and Chaos had just been transferred to a new Fort and Chaos had seen a lovely lady, so what did he do, he went and got a handful of boobs. Bad news was that female soldier could hit, and hit hard. Chaos had found himself in the infirmary for two days afterwards. Never again had he done something so stupid. Though there were plenty of other things he had done and still often did do. One of them seeing if he can steal things off of others without them knowing. Most of the time he'd return the item but they where more shocked that he had it than to be mad at him.
"I'll make sure I have a talk with, Alex. I'm really not that concerned though." Chaos grinned. He tilted his head to the side when Harmony spoke about her brother more. "Most soldiers don't find real love when they are devoted to the military. I may be here, but I don't fully devote my entire self to the military as I'm sure you've noticed. I mean I'd fight to hell and back for this country, but when I'm not fighting why should I have to just focus on things here. Ya know?" Chaos frowned as his mind had wondered back to Lena. It truly wasn't fair that she rejected him. He should have thought things through, something Stray was often telling him to do. There is more than just one outcome that can happen, is what Stray would often say.
"Glad your mum was able to shut him up then." Chaos grinned. He looked back up over to Stray whom he had noticed looking at Harmony and she shrugged in return. "Would the two of you knock it off? Look, I know the two of you really are wondering what's going on in my head, but really it's nothing. All right." He smiled a bit.
Stray frowned when Harmony shrugged. She had just as much knowledge as he did at the moment. Stray shook his head at Chaos. "Call us foolish then, Chaos, but we care about you. We can see you're hurting and it hurts us too." He took a seat next to Chaos. Chaos almost always ate even when he was sick he'd welcome food in his stomach. Even if it meant he'd be upchucking it an hour later. "I didn't see you in the dining hall and from what it looks like here you didn't even eat. The last time you didn't eat was back when."
"Shut it, Stray." Chaos had a harder time talking about what Stray was about to bring up. Mika. Mika was their younger sister. Outgoing girl and it was clear she loved her brothers. She wanted to go everywhere with them. Mika was no longer alive and Chaos took it quite hard. He didn't eat for four days and barely did anything. Stray on the other hand had hunted down her killer and acted like nothing happened. Stray was the 'cold one' in Chaos' eyes when it came to Mika. Harmony new of Mika only because Stray had told her when she asked about their lives before the military. Chaos had slipped saying they had a sister and Harmony reminded him of her. Stray filled Harmony in of what happened, but not everything. Not how they were eleven when it happened. How Stray had literally hunted down the man that raped and killed Mika. How it was Stray that took a pitchfork and stabbed it through the bastards throat as if it was no big deal. Nobody knew either that Stray still often had nightmares about that day. That was his first kill, the first time blood was spilled on his hands.
"It's true, Chaos. That's why you have me worried. I don't think to my knowledge anyone has died, so what is it that can be so grave to set you off like this?" Stray put an arm around Chaos to let him know he was there.
Chaos shot Stray a nasty glare. "You really are an ass, you know that?" Chaos sighed but then grinned. "But you're my ass." He chuckled as he gave a shrug. "To put it simple, I fell in love with a ...soldier here." He chose to keep it to the basics of just a soldier. He did not want to name ranks or anything. "I confessed my love by accident, but I thought it would turn out fine. I thought I read the signs right but apparently not. She denied me. Kind of feels like a dagger has pierced my heart." He frowned.

Cain sat down with Alex. He started to eat. "Of course I have been entertained. That's the whole point of life is to be entertained. Is it not?" He ate a bit more as he noticed the royal siblings enter. He personally had made a mental note to stay away from those two. Clovis was way over protective of his sister. Who cared about their sibligns, really? His was just an annoyance to him trying to get him to stop having his fun. Sure he cared for Catherine and wouldn't want actual harm to come to her, but that was about as far as his love went for her. If she would perhaps stay out of his business he'd care for her a hell of a lot more. "I'm thinking about trying to round up some others for a poker night tonight. You in?" Cain asked.
Amelia nodded to Thomas when he mentioned that they did get off on the wrong foot. At least things where better. At least he admited he was stubborn, but if that truly was all he had in his file it might be a boring read. "Thank you, Sir Thomas." There it was, the respect she was slowly having on Thomas. Earlier in the day she fought tooth and nail to have to call him anything but Thomas. Sir in front of it was all right with her at least until he did something to piss her off, that was. If that happened.
Amelia grabbed a tray of food. "I'm sure you'll be using a weapon in no time." She smiled. "Besides you already know how to fence. Myself on the other hand," She chuckled. "I came in knowing nothing on weilding any weapon. Unless you count my hairbrush." She joked. She tilted her head when her brother asked her what Thomas meant about keeping his word. She really did want to try some alcohol so there was no way she was going to risk not getting it by telling Clovis about it. Good thing there was another part of what Thomas had promised her. "Sir Thomas mentioned that if I could hit the center of the target he'd arrange for a bettering living quarters for me. I'm hoping he'll be able to get me my own room." It seemed that Amelia was starting to find her rebelious side that she never would have had if she stayed in the castle. Who knows if that will be a good or bad thing yet. All Amelia knew was she was starting to have fun in a different light.

Harmony Adams
Harmony got why Chaos laughed. She forgot which brother told her about it but she remembered that Chaos had his own similar experience. She sighed at least he was going to keep and eye on Alexander. She on the other hand was a little less faithful it wasn't going to happen again. She was going to teach Catherine how to defend herself, At least how to throw a proper punch. " It better not happen again Chaos, I am going to make sure if he touches her again Catherine will not just slap him again." Harmony sighed at the comment that he made in regards to devoting himself to the military. He was right in the matter that he was one of those that did not live and breath the military life... She on the other hand was. It had to do with her motto if she was going to do something she was going to do it right. She didn't get where she was without hard work, others in her position would have slept to get any sense of power, that was just not her nature. Gender was a fickle thing, and Chaos and his brother managed to get the good side of the coin. Their efforts would be recognized with far less work than what had been taken for her own. But that didn't mean that she couldn't have fun. She did have her own moments when she could get out and enjoy the world around her. Often though,During her stay at the fort, it happened when both twins were so annoyed by her antics that they literally drag her along to do so... but it happened. Though tonight was the first night in a long time she just ignored her responsibilities. Between Catherine and Chaos, though she didn't feel the guilt she would have any other night.... " I am still trying to figure out what my mother said or did to him..." Harmony chuckled herself. " But they both left the room, he was white as a ghost and my mother said she would be waiting to hear his answer on whether or not he would reconsider..." Harmony watched and picked at her own tray of food as the twins talked to themselves. Stray was determined to get a response from his brother. Stray had told her about their sister. From the way Chaos reacted when Stray obscurely mentioned her, was what made Harmony realize that they were discussing her now. What she did know of the story made her heart wrench and her stomach churn. Especially knowing that if things had been different in her childhood things could have been much the same for her. The men in her family took extreme means to protect her, Stray and Chaos were unaware of the danger that lurked for their sister or any woman in this world. They were unprepared and unsuspecting in regards to the tragedy that in many ways defined who they are now. Though, even for what was normal, this situation they had experienced was not. While not unheard of, rape and murder did not often go together. She pinched the bridge of her nose frustrated this was not a train of thought that she wanted to be on. She had a feeling that there was more to the story than what they told. From how much the events seemed to affect them, there had to be. But, from what Harmony knew, they did not tell many people as much as what that had told her. When and if they were ready, she knew that they would tell her, but until then she would support the twins. Not that she would ever stop. She was so lost in her thoughts that she barely noticed when Chaos gave his big reveal. She blinked back a little startled. The woman he loved was a soldier, he confessed, and she rejected him. She sighed, no wonder he was so torn up. "Well then, Chaos, it's not your fault. You are not so dumb to read signals that weren't really there. You and your brother have an uncanny ability to read people," She spoke softly. Knowing it was rude to pry she didn't, but she did run through a list of thoughts in her head as to who it may be. Nothing was coming to her mind. " If she rejected your emotions, she would have her own reasoning... But don't beat yourself up over it." She grabbed from her plate the cheese cake and divided it into thirds. It wasn't much, but it was to her only right. If they did the work they deserved part of the treat as well. Not to mention, Chaos was experiencing his first broken heart. While it was normally stereotyped with women, she did not see why a little sweet indulgence was something he could not partake in. She also left half her meal on the tray, in case he changed his mind and wanted to eat. _____________________________________________________________
________----------------------------Alexander Essex
"That is one way to look at it..." he responded a little distracted.
He was surprised to see that Cain just sat down on one of those wooden benches and started. There was something distasteful about the whole idea in his mind. He was a spoiled noble, he would admit, and it wasn't the benches that bothered him, but the fact that all etiquette seemed to have no purpose here. His whole life time he had been told what is and what isn't proper during meal time. It was one of the few moments of structure his parents have given him and it was gone. The realization made his head spin.
He sat down and steadied his head with his hand. He could not believe that such a small thing as an improperly set table was sending him into this type of mental melt down. Not one other person seemed to be bothered by the lack of social and dining rules that he could see and he could not shake the feeling that everything was completely wrong before him. Alex was not one who embraced change easily, In fact he realized he seemed to be handling matters fairly well, up till this point.
Now everything before him was falling apart. Unless he figured out some way to make things right in his head, things were not going to end pretty. He needed to figure out where the structure in these meals was. Discipline and boundaries once learned are not something that Alex can just toss to the wind. He needed some rules to replace the ones that he lost, something that would not make him lose one of the few things he had accepted.
Cain started to talk again. Something about getting a poker group together for the night. Alex redirected his thoughts back towards his friend. It took him a moment to realize that he was asking if he was going to join in. "I...I.. Yes, Cain you can count me in..." He stumbled for a minute with his words and then managed to rephrase his response so that he could answer. Then he turned his attention back to the tray of food, his fork, knife, and spoon. He was determined to some how make this work before him... Only here for a few hours this was not going to be the thing that broke him.

Chaos arched a brow when it was Harmony to first speak up. "I suppose you're right. Though Stray has always been the better out of the two of us who can read people easier." He smirked. That wasn't really true. Chaos could read people by their emotions better than Stray. Stray on the other hand was able to read people on how they would move or attack. He shrugged a bit. "Yea, I suppose you're right, Harmony, but it still stings." He then noticed Harmony cutting up the cheese cake into thirds. "Huh, ah Harmony you don't have to do that." Chaos rubbed the back of his neck but then smiled. "Thank you." He ate the slice of cheesecake, and though he wouldn't typically like to admit things, it made him realize he was rather hungry. Sure it was rude to ask this but it was Chaos, he didn't think. "Hey, ah Harmony are you going to finish what's on your tray?" He looked over at her.
Stray was shocked to hear his brother had found love. Chaos was the Fort's manwhore and to hear that someone had taken his heart just was surprising. He smiled though when it seemed that Harmony got through to Chaos. "Now that is the Chaos we all know and love." Stray grinned. He looked over to Harmony who gave him a third of the cheesecake. "Thank you, Harmony." He ate his slice. "Harmony, you were thinking weren't you." Stray looked back to Chaos. The two didn't need to speak to understand what the other was thinking. He perhaps owed it to Harmony for how he had just used Mika just now. Harmony knew parts of the story, but not everything. After he had told her what he did she had asked him questions that he dodged. "Later, why don't you and I have a drink or two?" He looked over to Harmony.
"You don't look so good, Alex." Cain frowned. "Don't tell me you're getting ill here! Sadly I don't think it's the food, though. You haven't eaten a bite and I have." Cain felt felt so that was why that theory was tossed aside so quickly. Cain just didn't let things get to him so when there was changes around him, he adapted by making games out of them.
Cain grinned when Alex agreed that he would join in on poker. "Glad to know you'll be playing poker with whomever I can scavange up. Maybe with luck we can get some lovely ladies in." He chuckled a bit. Of course at that point he was hoping for strip poker then.

Harmony Adams
She smiled as Chaos ate his portion of his cheesecake and then asked if she was going to finish her food. She knew she didn't have to do what she did. Part of her actions were out of instinct, the other majority was because it concerned her to see that Chaos was so worked up. She with out a word slid the tray to him and relaxed a little. " Of course it does." she responded. Disappointment, rejection, sorrow, they were all emotions that left a mark that many were unable to recover from. "But also look at what you gained from this." Stray ate his own piece of cake as well. Seeming much more relaxed himself. He paused just long enough to be thinking himself and Harmony chuckled when he commented on her thinking. " I am always thinking Stray," and realized that he was acting a little more serious than what she normally expected from him. Her statement was true though, the moments she did not think was when she slept, hunted, and had a little too much to drink. " But my thoughts were a little more thoughtful than normal." she admitted with a sigh. "Drinks sound nice... but it should be light... I don't think that tomorrow would be any easier and a hang over is the last thing I need." _____________________________________________________________

"No, not ill.. ." Alex muttered and brought his hands to his face and rubbing it. He felt a headache coming on.
No, no he was not okay either it seemed. If the normally oblivious Cain noticed that he was a little off, than he was far worse than he wanted to appear. He could not believe he was reacting so harshly to the lack of proper place settings. He was not at home, that was clear the moment he stepped from the carriage, but something in his mind didn't fully comprehend until this moment. He had prepared himself for the large changes, but he did not expect that their dining habits would change.
Surely he was not so rigid that he could not bring himself to compromise in a matter as small as this. He continued to stare at the scene before him with a mixture of emotions. He was not stupid, no, and he wanted his first tantrum here to be planned and well place. Interrupting dinner or lack of proper dining ware was not what he had planned. The decorated officer, and his trainer were nowhere to be found. Finally and idea seemed to strike him. He bolted back to his feet and with as much dignity and grace he could manage he walked to where the silverware utensils were kept and grabbed what he needed. Though they were not "proper" the fact that he had a semi-proper place setting with all spoons and forks represented allowed his brain a respite.
"I would much rather we have booze than women tonight, but I will not complain with the latter." He responded and unfolded an napkin placing it in his lap. Then things seeming a little better, Alex started to dig into his food.

Cain tilted his head as he watched Alex. Just what was he doing? As quickly as Alex seemed to be unwell, he was all right again, and eating. "You're weird." Cain chuckled a bit. He did not mean anything by that statement. Just that his actions just now really seemed out of place. At least for Cain. He shrugged a bit as he continued to eat his meal. "Booze over women, huh?" Cain thought a moment deciding how he could go about that. "I'm sure if I talk to the right soldiers I can secure some booze for us." He grinned. "I wonder what kinds they have here. I doubt they have anything we're really use to." He frowned a bit.
Chaos nodded his head. "I suppose it always strings the first time for anyone, huh?" Chaos chuckled a little but was glad when Harmony pushed her tray over to him. "Thank you!" He grinned as he started to dig in rather messily. Then again, Chaos was one to usually eat like a pig to begin with. This was not anything new. "What I gain from this?" He spoke with a mouthful. "Yea I suppose so." He swallowed the mouthful he had. "And you should know that already, Stray! Harmony thinks just as much as you do." He grinned as he went back to shoving food in his mouth. He knew what Stray was going to tell Harmony later and he hadn't decided yet if he'd join in. He didn't like sharing the story about Mika. Let alone hearing it again. He'd probably go hang out with some of the other soldiers or perhaps he might even go find Alex.
Stray shook his head as he looked at Chaos eat. He actually found himself scooting a little bit away from him so he would not get food on his uniform. "Your thoughts are more thoughtful hm?" He then nodded his head. "That settles it. We'll drink, just enough to get tipsy nothing more. No hangovers. I don't think I could deal with one either." He chuckled. "I'll tell you what you probably have been wondering for quite some time now and in return I want to hear what you've been thinking more thoughtful than normal." Stray never did drink to get drunk. Tipsy yes, but that was about it. He always wanted to stay in control of things.
Stray looked up when Catherine walked out of Harmony's room. He stood up and was shocked when she spoke that she wanted to leave this place. "Lady Catherine. Please reconsider. You have seen the worst of this Fort but you yet to see the good that can come from here. I know just a mere soldier's word is not much, but it's something. You have no right to listen to me or even acknowledge me. You are a noble, Catherine. And from what I see, and from what I read in your file, you don't belong here. You are one that would be able to handle politics instead. Still, it might be knowledgeable for you to stay here and learn how the military is run if anything." Stray had locked his gaze with Catherine's hoping his words would be heard.

Harmony Adams
Harmony sighed Stray definitely had something on his mind and Harmony knew that when she got the chance she should listen to it. Harmony felt a little guilty when Stray mentioned that he wanted to hear her thoughts. How would you tell someone that you have been thinking off and on about how your life was shit, but they seemed to get a shorter straw. While her family had hard moments, there was plenty of reasons to laugh. Then she processed the other part of his response to her. He was going to tell her probably what she was wondering. She let out a sigh. "If that is what you want to do, I agree, we should talk... But only if you are ready..." She muttered. "But I promise that my thoughts are not worth much. They are mainly mental rambling..." She offered with a smile. She heard Catherine as she left her room and looked up. The noble woman had composed herself quite well. She announced that she was going to be leaving the fort and Harmony felt her emotions plummet. She heard Stray as he pleaded for her to reconsider. Harmony bit her lip, she hated the thought that the Noble woman would be leaving. They were just starting to get a long. She stood up and brushed her pants legs off. "I will take you." She muttered. After all Catherine was her trainee. "Guys, I'll stop by in a bit, alright, I need to see this through." She spoke to the twins and gestured for Catherine to follow through. She waited till she was out of ear range before speaking again herself. "I ask the same as Stray. Please reconsider," She muttered, "I know I failed as your trainer. I should have walked with you to the stables. I was responsible to for your well being and I mess up big time. But I promise that I would not make the same mistake twice." It was selfish of her she realized. She was also partially surprised that the words came from her own mouth, considering that morning this was in a way exactly what she had asked for. Alex should never had the opportunity to lay his hands on her. But Harmony was also aware with the fact that while Catherines emotions were justified, the Noble woman was running away. Harmony would not voice this thought, it was not her place, but it did not sit well that she may not get her opportunity to train the woman to defend herself. Harmony sighed and didn't say more. Catherine was a woman capable of making her own decisions. She was not sure what more she could say that would encourage the woman to make what Harmony felt might be the better decision for her. _____________________________________________________________

"I am weird... " Alex responded calmly. "I just found out, that the lack of proper dining propriety was enough to send me over the limit. I normally would have just thrown my tantrum, but at this moment I find that it would be oddly ineffective. Especially since everyone is still so riled by my earlier antics. I do not wish to overwhelm their senses and desensitize them before I have a proper chance to raise a major fuss. "
Alex smiled at his friend. While the idea of cheap alcohol did not appeal to him, it was more likely to be better than no alcohol. The women, if he could get them to join would not be a bad plus... But he had enough interactions with the one woman he did not want to see, to be okay if none were able to be talked into joining. "It is your party Cain, I just have already had my daily satiation of womanly interaction... While it was nice, I think the price for it was far above what I was willing to pay.... " His hand once again reached his cheek. Though it no longer really did, he swore he could still feel the sting from where Cain's sister had slapped him.

Who Am I Really? Markus gave a nod of his head to Henry’s words about the Captain. He was right, of course, but still Markus sympathized with the man. He saw the brattiest nobles on a daily basis working in the castle with the king, so surely having to get them to do anything they weren’t willing to do was more than a handful. He recalled a time he almost got hung for asking the prince to move to the side a little in order to refrain from being hit by a picture the servants were replacing on a random wall. The memory caused him to cringe before the smell of food entered his nostrils.
He happily followed Henry’s lead to gather food on his tray before they took a seat together at a random table. Being a brat or not, Markus always displayed his manners when eating and sat up his silverware accordingly before beginning his meal. He didn’t pick out much to eat only because Knights lived on a rather strict diet, but still he didn’t want that to stop him from looking like he ate a lot. He half-listened to the story the soldier retold Henry about Lady Catherine’s run-in with another noble who groped her. Markus gave a proud nod when he heard the lady slapped her attacker, but frowned into his water when he heard the Captain only gave a little speech as punishment.
Before Henry even opened his mouth, Markus already could hear what was going to be said about his poor delicate flower being bruised. However, he gave Henry a side glance when he mentioned how he wasn’t able to ride the lady’s aid. That was his fault…“My apologies, Henry. Perhaps there is still time to accommodate the young lady. She may need a shoulder to cry on and express the heartache that a lady, such as herself, suffers when going through such an ordeal. Who better suited to comfort her than you?” Markus suggested as he idly pushed his spoon around his soup bowl and kept his gaze down. He didn’t want to see that look on Henry’s face when he realized what a ‘marvelous’ plan that would be to win Catherine’s heart. In truth though, if the lady didn’t learn to overcome such attacks on her own then she would never survive the strenuous routine that soldiers went through each day. They were always belittling one another in an attempt to push each other to achieve better. It was the same when Markus trained with the Knights. They were tough and heartless, never acting as thought they cared about him, and always pushing him to be better than who he was yesterday…
Lena Komarine Lena didn’t have to wait long before she heard Captain Meinard’s voice calling for her to enter his office. Just as she was about to open the door with her free hand, it helpfully opened itself and produced her mortal enemy. Lena smiled politely at Elizabeth and moved out of her way, but was thankfully declined further interaction. Lena watched the noble woman walk down the hallway before turning her head and giving a sincere smile to the Captain as she walked in and closed the door behind herself. “Evening, Captain.” She greeted as she carried the tray of food into his office before setting it down on a bare enough spot on his desk. “Thought you might be hungry, but unwilling to leave your office.” She gave him a wink in her normal fashion before taking a slice of bread from the tray and sitting herself down where she presumed Elizabeth had been. She chewed on the bite she took as she studied the Captain through cheerful eyes.
“Before you ask, the answer is no. I didn’t tell the chef I was taking food to you. So I would appreciate it if you act like you were starving all night when you get breakfast tomorrow. Least he finds out I went against him.” She said in a light-hearted tone before stuffing the rest of the bread in her mouth to chew on as she shifted around in her seat until she pulled out the half-folded papers from her behind her. It was the report she half fabricated on about what her task was at the other camp base. It would have been hard to write that the other Captain only required assistance with keeping his bed hot, rather than collaborating his claim that the two bases needed better communication between them in order to produce fine soldiers. She unfolded the report and looked it over as the piece of bread in her mouth continued to go down in size before she decided everything was there.
Without wasting another moment, Lena sat the report down on his desk and leaned back in her seat with a proud smile. Once he saw the note in that report that the other Captain was looking to take her on as his own lieutenant (another fabrication for her grand scheme), Meinard was bound to treat her with even more attention to convince her that here was the place she belonged…by his side. Subtle manipulation on her part. “Take your time getting to my report, Captain. I just took a walk around the base and discovered the extent at which the nobles are running a muck. I can’t even begin to think how you manage to have time for your normal duties on top of everything going on here.” She sympathized before sitting up and fixing the cuffs on her sleeves. She waited another moment before flicking her eyes back up to him. “So, are you going to tell me how the talk went with Elizabeth or do you want me to bug you until you spit it out?” She asked with a cheeky grin.
