"Of course I am ready, ask for whatever card you want,"Samantha spoke calmly. She had gotten one card from him, it was time to see if she had what card he needed next. She was really enjoying playing cards with Solomon, she never really had a best friend before.
Ashley watched for a moment as he set the table up, a small smile gracing her lips as she did so.
"It looks wonderful, dear. You really outdid yourself making sure it was perfect,"Ashley finally said, having not wanted to interrupt him.
"Oh yes, there was certainly a lot to learn from you. I am so glad I had you to teach me everything,"Selenity laughed. She took another sip of her coffee, just looking at the viewscreen and getting lost in her thoughts.

"mmmm," he said to himself as he rubbed his chin thinking about what his next move would be. "What care should I take?" he asked outload thinking about what card to draw. "How about this? Do you have any Jacks?" he asked smirking some hoping to get an card from her as to try and tie the game up.
Dreaka turned to face his wife as he finished setting the table and having everything ready. "Of course, only the very best for us and this special date." He told her as he smiled as he looked over her. "Now that takes me back honey. Back to our school dates and our first dates." He told her as he walked over to her softly placing his hand on her cheek as he leaned in pressing his lips against her soft lips before pulling back afew inches an min later. "I seeing you everyday in my life Ashley and I won't have it any other way" He told her as he rested his forehead against her forehead.
Max began to laugh as well as he remembered as when they were still dating. He would bug her at times using his powers to "teach" her things to to mess with her. He smirked winking at her before taking another drink from his cup finishing it. He placed the cup on the armrest. "So glad to help Selenity," he told her looking over at her smiling as he now watched as she was lost in thought.

Samantha watched him as he tried to decide what card he was going to ask for next, hoping it was one she didn't have. When he asked for a jack, she groaned, before handing one over.
"You are so lucky I had that one in my hand,"Samantha teased.
Ashley managed a smile when he said only the best and that it took him back, it did for her too. He had always gone out of his way to make sure their dates were special and it seemed he still did. When he came over and kissed her, she returned the kiss, holding it for as long as she could.
"I love being able to see you whenever I get a chance, you always brighten my day. No matter how stressed I am with work, you know how to relax me,"Ashley replied.
"Sometimes I think you just wanted to make sure I was paying attention,"Selenity chuckled. She remembered how he used to mess with her with his powers, used to drive her nuts. If she was honest, however, it had been one of the things she had always loved about him.

Solomon laughed as he took her card and placed it with his own on the table in the middle of them. "Maybe, I just may be lucky or just so good." He said laughing some as the game was getting better and better with his new best friend. " He was feeling super happy and he looked back at her "Now its your turn. Can you guess, What I have in my hand?" he asked waving his cards some as to tease her.
"Your worth it honey," he told her as he nuzzled her cheek. "I enjoy being there for you on days that your down days and on your best days. I fallen in love with you on first sight and knew that I wanted to be with you. " He told her smiling softly before he pressed his lips against her once more in a soft kiss. "And I will always be there to make yours and Solomon's life better." He moved his hand down and took hers as he turned to show her the table. "Got the wine that you like, one of the plus of being First Officer" he spoke with an smirk on his face. On the table as well was one candle was burning with the lights turned down to set the mood for the best dinner. "Now everything is ready, ready to eat?" he asked her smiling some as he pulled an chair out for her.
Max just grin as she was right, there was times that he did it just to mess with her. "Well, I had to make sure that you were always thinking about me when we were apart." He looked at her smiling as he remembered the times that he would talk to her with his powers when they were in their own rooms. "Plus, I knew that you loved it dear." He knew that he enjoyed the time he had talking to her during the nights using his powers.

Samantha looked thoughtfully over her cards, trying to decide what to ask for next.
"I am going to guess you have...some Aces for me...right?"Samantha asked. She didn't really know what he had, but it was fun to pretend like she did.
Ashley closed her eyes briefly as he nuzzled her cheek, she loved this man so very much. She smiled as he said how much he liked being there for her for her good and bad days, that he wanted to be with her since the moment they had met. She knew he would always be there for them and she would do the same for him. She opened her eyes as he showed her the wine on the table.
"I must say, you do have quite the perks there, my love. Guess they kind of extend to me, being your wife,"Ashley teased. She sat down in the chair he pulled out for him and nodded her head in reply.
"It was wonderful being able to talk to you, even when we were not in the same room. It was like we had our own private language and no one could take it away from us,"Selenity admitted. It was always fun to talk to him telepathically, they would do it as long as they could.

Solomon looked down at his cards then looked back up at her just watching her from above his cards. "You used your powers didn't you?" he asked before he gave her two of his cards. He smirked as he draw another card and looked once more at her, "So, do you have any 1s?" he asked as he had to catch back up as she was winning. But truly, he didn't mind losing as he was just happy to be playing with his new best friend.
Dreaka smiled as he moved back around the table pulling his chain out some so that he could sit down at the table. "Indeed, if there is anything that we need that is hard to get ahold of. I can use my rank to get them. Or maybe even get us to go and check out some ruins and digs that we find." He spoke of smiling as he knew that she enjoyed going on digs as he did as well. Infact going on an dig was their fourth date as he heard of some ruins on an planet and he talked her into going to the planet for the dig of unknown race of aliens. "Well, I hope that your enjoy dinner, I tried to get it the right way." He smiled as he picked up his glass of wine and he helded it out toward her so that their glasses could touch. "To us and our family" he spoke softly smiling softly at her.
Max nodded as he smiled remembering all of the times that they would stay up late having long talks when they were in their own rooms or away from each other. "Nobody could ever take that away from us even if the tried." He told her as he placed his hand ontop of hers. "And we will always have to ourselves my love" he told her telepathically smiling some more as he looked at her.

Samantha laughed lightly as he asked if she used her powers, shaking her head.
"Nope, that was just a lucky guess. Have to say, it was a pretty good one. And yes, I do,"Samantha replied, before she handed over two one's. She was perfectly fine with losing as well, if it came to that. She was just enjoying spending time with him.
Ashley watched him walk over and sit down, a smile on her lips as she heard what he said. He knew he really could get anything he wanted, well, within reason. When he mentioned ruins, her eyes seemed to light up, oh how she loved getting to go on digs and learning about different people. She picked up her own glass and joined him in the toast.
"To us and our family. Also to the success of our mission aboard this ship,"Ashley added.
'Yes, we always will. I am glad, I like having private conversations when we need to...or just for fun,'Selenity replied back. She took his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

Solomon smirked as he began to shake his head laughing some as well, "yeah it was an really good guess" he said smirking some more. He draw another card and looked at her. This was it they were down to th finally cards and who ever got the next winning pair would win the game. "Alright, its your turn. Can you guess right?" he asked her as he hide his cards well.
Dreaka smiled as they toasted and he pulled the glass back toward his lips taking an slip of the wine before placing it back down on the table. "Well, dinner is ready. I hope that you like it honey, it was fun just to have the computer make then as best as I could" he said with an smile. He then picked up his fork using it to take a bite of his meal, "mmm not bad. taste just like when were on our date" he said taking another bite enjoying his meal.
"The just for fun times were my fav as we got closer together in our lifes. Plus it was useful when I had tests and you helped me pass them. I hated pop tests that the teacher did sometimes on us. You were a big help in passing them." He looked at her as he spoke to her through her mind as he interlocked his fingers were hers holding their hands together.

Samantha smiled softly at that, watching him pick up a card and knew it came down to this last one. She pursed her lips, trying to figure out what he had.
"Do you have a seven?"Samantha asked hopefully. She held her breath, telling herself that it all came down to this. If he had it, she won, if not, then he won.
Ashley took a sip of her own wine, before putting it down behind her dish. She picked up a fork and took a bit of the food on it, before popping it in her mouth.
"Mmmm, this tastes pretty good. May not be exactly like our date, but I must say it comes pretty close,"Ashley finally spoke after she had swallowed her food.
'We really got close having our fun times together. And I only helped you study before a test,'Selenity reminded. She liked having their hands together like they were.

Solomon looked at her for an while before looking back at the card in his hand and he looked back to her. He continued to do this for afew mins as to drive her czary, until he finally spoke as he flip the card to show her it. "Got one, you win" he said before he helded it out for her to take. He just grin happily as he was happy, happy that he lost to his new best friend.
Dreaka smiled as she said that the food was good, but not like their meal was back on their date years ago. "True, but it does come close as well" he said with an smile, "I'm glad that you still like it." He took an slip of his glass before taking another bite from his meal. This continued until he ran out of wine and pored himself an another glass. He helded the wine button in the air as he asked if she wanted more. "Another glass Ash?" He asked her smiling more.
"And the studies helped me pass those pop tests that I got all the time" he said with an smirk on his lips as he helded her hand with her. He pulled their hands up to his lips softly kissing her hand smiling at her. He too enjoyed times he was was able to just be together with her even when they were on duty.

Samantha watched as he kept looking at his cards and then her and it was making her very anxious. Did that mean he had the card she asked for or that she was sunk? When he said he had it, she felt like she could leap for joy as she took it from him.
"That was such a close game, I loved it. Thank you so much, it means a lot that you stayed to play a game with me,"Samantha beamed.
Ashley smiled softly to him, she did still like it and she was enjoying this re-do of their second date. No, it wasn't exactly the same, but that was to be expected when you were on a ship. She continued to eat and drink, until her glass was empty.
"Yes please, I could use some more,"Ashley replied.
'Well, I am glad I was able to help then. I figured what ever studying I could help with would be appreciated,'Selenity responded. She smiled and blushed lightly as he kissed her hand, he always knew how to give her butterflies, even now.

Solomon just smiled as he was glad that she enjoyed the game as he did as well. "Your welcome, I didn't want you to be all down and stuff as we are friends and we should help each other when stuff happens. Or even if we just want to play." He said smirking as he picked up all of the cards to put then back into the box. "So anything else you want to do?" He asked her.
Dreaka nodded as he made her another glass of wine before setting the button back down on the table. "There you go" he spoke before taking another bite of his meal enjoying the taste as much as he could. As with her, he could tell that it wasn't just like what they had years ago. But it was an very close second and he did enjoy the time that he was spending with her at that time. After bait, he finished his food and his second glass of wine. He did himself an third glass and smiled as he watched Ashley from across the table.
"Yes and it helped my a lot on a few subjects i was for sure about." He replied as he smiled at her holding her hand within his. He then began to smirk to himself some as he remembered something. "Sure, us having our own private language is that it was useful when we were planning on stuff to do last min or even planed out like dates and stuff." He told her enjoying the fact that nobody could hear them at that time and he was able to be himself with her as well.

Samantha smiled softly at that, she definitely agreed that they really should look out for one another and do things together, even if it is just to play. When he asked what next, she had a thoughtful look in her eyes, trying to decide what they could do.
"Well, I still appreciate it. I am not used to having a best friend to look out for me, but I agree that we should do so for one another. And I think we should have a little something to eat, I am getting hungry,"Samantha explained.
Ashley gave him a grateful look as he brought her a second glass of wine, it was really quite good. She went back to eating her food, looking up to see what her husband was doing from time to time. When she was done with her meal, she wondered what he planned for them next.
"So now what?"Ashley asked, taking another sip of her wine and looking over it at Dreaka.
'Well, good, I would have hated for you to fail any of your courses. And yes, being able to talk to each other mentally always came in handy for planning of things. Also good for coming up with gifts for Samantha, without her knowing,'Selenity laughed.

Solomon nodded smiling as they would indeed be there for each other and have fun as they did it as well. When she spoke about getting some food, he through about it and his stomach too was saying to make sounds. "Yeah, I'm starting to get hungry myself. What do you want?" He asked as he got up from the chain, "I will get it for us."
Dreaka was enjoying some of his wine when she finished and asked him what was next on the list to do. He place the glass down and smiled at her, "Well. I was thinking of maybe putting an movie on and watching it with you" he told her smiling some. "What movie would you like? You can pick anyone out there." He told her smiling at her waiting.
Max smirked as he laughed to himself some at the last part. He nodded softly before speaking once more, "Oh yes, we always had to hide the gifts very well and using our powers helped as we were able to get her the good stuff. But now with her getting her powers now. We are going to have to be very clever now and not let her catch on us now." He told her smirking some laughing as well.

Samantha pursed her lips in this cute way, trying to decide what she wanted to eat right now.
"Hmmm, I think I am in the mood for a cheeseburger, some fries, and a chocolate shake. And if we are still hungry, some silk pie for dessert,"Samantha answered.
Ashley tried to think of what movie she currently wanted to see, still taking sips of her wine as she did so.
"How about we watch one of the Star Wars movies? Those are always good for some laughs. And what about dessert?"Ashley questioned.
'Yes, we didn't want her to stumble upon them, so we made sure to hide them very well. Hmmm, yes, I suppose with her powers coming in, we will have to think of a new way to get her gifts. I am sure we will think of something though,'Selenity replied.
