"Math isn't my favorite subject either, but I guess I manage. Maybe your mom could give you some pointers to make it easier for you. Umm, after break we actually do history,"she giggled.
"I will do my best, Captain. For full data, it will probably take a couple of days, sir,"Ashley replied over the comm.

Solomon's lips quickly turned into an smile when she said that History was next. "I love History" he said glad to be doing something that he knew more about. He lean back in his chain and nodded as to replied to the rest of what she said. "Mom, would be better to ask about Math, dad knows it. But not as well as Mom does" he said looking at her. "So how long is break?" he asked.
Max nodded, "very good, keep us in check Mrs.Ackerman. We aren't in an hurry. The Titan wouldn't meet up with us for afew days. So we have time." He replied back over the comm to the Science Officer. |

Samantha could see that the idea of doing history next had lifted Solomon's spirits some. She listened to him speak about his mother and math, it did make sense to her. As one of the science team, you would need to be pretty good at math.
"Yeah, she would have to be able to do math for her job. Um, break is usually about 20 minutes,"she replied.
"Alright, sir, I will keep you in the loop. It is a good thing we don't meet up with the Titan for a few days, gives us time to collect our data,"she answered.

Solomon nodded as his mom would be the best to get help from on it. He would have to see if she could help after dinner tonight. But they were now on break, "so what something to drink?" He asked as he got up wanting to get an cup of juice.
Sounds good Lieutenant. Keep us posted, bridge out" Max said before the channel was closed. The Captain turned to Dreaka and spoke, "The Lieutenant seems to be ready indeed" Dreaka smiled and nodded "yes, the Lieutenant is very good at her job and will do the very better at her station" he said as smiled as he remembered that she was just like that back in the Academy. He looked at the Captain and Counselor "she will do just fine and be an great part of the crew."
Max listened and smiled as he could feel the joy and happiness feeling he was getting off from the Commander. It was easy to tell that the Commander cared deeply for the Lieutenant. Max eyes moved over to the Counselor and he smiled knowin that she felt the same feeling from the Commander and he personally felt the same about his wide too.

"Mmm,something to drink would be a good idea actually. Let's go get something,"Samantha smiled. She got to her feet and went to ask the teacher for some juice for the both of them.
Serenity listened to the others speak, not saying anything at all for the moment. When Dreaka spoke about his wife, she could tell that he loved her and had a lot of pride in her. She let a smile grace her lips at that, nodding to Max as he looked over at her.
