Samantha seemed to calm down a little as her father told her not to worry and she heard him say the knight would try to rescue the princess. She listened as he continued the story, letting out a cheer when the knight got the people together to fight the evil lord and his army. The cheering became more frequent when the knight and the people made it into the castle, giving the lord a run for his money. Then she sat there with bated breath as they circled each other.
"The lord has to lose, the princess is the proper ruler,"she said with determination.

The two watched each other for several minutes before the knight yelled charging at his foe the lord. The knight slashed his sword only for the lord to block it with his own. The evil lord smirked and pushed the knight back and began to swing his sword at the knight putting him on the defense, until he pushed back one of the lord's attack and began to thrust his blade at the enemy. The two battled around the room, the loud clash of their blades echoed through the room and into the hallway as well." He told the young girl as he picture of the fight filled her mind. "You can't beat me! I will take the princess as my wife and I will rule forever! yelled the Evil Lord as he swinged his sword at the knight. The knight shook off the attack and looked right at the evil lord as he called out in an loud voice. "Your wrong! Hope is the true ruler has this land. I will make sure that she is returned to the throne as so she can lean our people into an better path than you." He yelled as he charged slashing his sword causing the lord to try and block him, "And I will be by her side through it all!" he said as he yelled loudly before swinging his sword ending the battle as the evil lord had lost. The knight dropped to his knee breathing heavly as he was tried. The princess ran over to him and they began to hug and hold each other as the battle was finally over" he told her continuing the story.

Samantha seemed to sit there with rapt attention as she listened to her father describe the battle. She drew her knees to her chest and wrapped her little arms around them. She wanted to see how this would end and she was hoping the knight would prevail. When the knight seemed to do just that, she was beaming from ear to ear.
"Yay, he did it, Daddy,"she cheered.

"Yes he did" he said as he reached over and rubbed her hair some as he smiled. "Well, after the lord was gone. The knight and princess looked into each other's faces before kissing each other" he said looking at her wondering what she would do. Some kids didn't like hearing people kiss or seeing it. But he was wondering what she would do. "After holding each other for abit, the two rose up and left the throne room heading outside. Once there, they were meet with an cheer of the people who came to their aid and helped them free the kingdom. And after that, the Princess became Queen of the Kingdom as her father stepped down from the throne. The Knight continued to be by her side until the two were married and they lived happy ever after." He finished the story and looked at her "so how was the story?" he asked smirking already knowing that she liked it as how much she was into it.

Samantha didn't mind the kissing part, after all, she saw her parents do it and in movies. When the story ended happily, she clapped her hands, she liked it a lot.
"Of course I did, Daddy. It was pretty,"she smiled.

Max smiled nodding, "glad to hear. Alright now its time for bed." he said as he got up from the bed and pulled the cover back for her to get in. "You got an big day in the morning" he said then he through about something as he forgot to ask. "So, how was Solomon? did the two of you have fun today?" he asked her.

Samantha let out a small yawn as she climbed fully into her bed and waited for her dad to tuck her in. She knew tomorrow was going to be a big day, going to school with her new friend. When Solomon was mentioned, she couldn't help but smile.
"He is really nice, Daddy. We had a lot of fun today while I had to rest. He didn't seem to mind at all,"she replied to him.

After she was in the bed, he pulled the covers over her as to tuck her into the bed as she talk about Solomon. "Good to hear, I'm sure like I said before that the two of you will get along very well" He said before leaning over her kissing her forehead. "Alright, time for bed. Good night little one" he said to her smiling softly at his daughter.

Samantha felt her dad tuck her in and she smiled softly. When he spoke and kissed her forehead, she nodded her head quietly.
"I think so too, Daddy. And okay, night Daddy, I love you,"she chirped up. She laid down on her pillow and began to close her eyes.

Max smiled as laid down to go to sleep "good night honey. I love you too, sweet dreams." he then left her room turning off the lights as he walked out. After leaving her room letting the door behind him as he headed toward the living room. Once there, he sat down on the couch smiling as he looked around for his wife. Once he seen her, he spoke "just finished telling Samantha an bedtime story. I think she really liked it as she was so into the story and the characters too" he said smiling some more.

Serenity had been reading her pad, when she heard her husband come back in. She put the pad in her lap and smiled at him when he said their daughter had liked the story he had told.

"Well, it was able an Evil Lord that took over an Kingdom and wanted the princess all to him. One of the knights had tooking the princess away to be safe. And as they spent time together, they fallen in love." He smiled back at her as he looked at her, "as I was telling it. I couldn't help but think it was based on us some. An Princess falling in love with someone from another world." he commented with an smile, "I mean, as telling her the story, its just came to me that the two of us are like those in the story" he told her.

Serenity listened to her husband explain the story he had told their daughter and she smiled. It definitely sounded like it was a good one and it did seem a little like them.
"Yes, who would have known a man from Earth and a princess would fall in love. You just made me fall in love with you,"she laughed.

Max smiled as his wife laughed and laughed as well. "Well, I'm glad that I was able to do so as I have the best family in the whole galaxy." He told before leading on and kissing her cheek before petting her hair. "You know at first I was surprised that an princesses had joined Starfleet Academy. You were big tall not only our class but the whole school." He said smiling some more as he continued to pet her hair remembering their time bring in the same class together.

Serenity smiled softly, she knew she had taken many people by surprise when she had joined Starfleet.
"I know, not everyday that a royal joins Starfleet, huh? I just think it was something I really wanted to do,"she spoke.
