"Me too, she is still young and there is so much to see what she may choose to do something else beside Starfleet and that's fine by me." He replied smiling back at her. When she spoke of her best choose in life was marrying him, he just smirked some as he snuggled against her. "mhm, I see. I must sat that was the best time of my life as well. The second best time was when Samantha was born." He said as his smile beamed looking at her.

Max smiled and nodded back as they both agreed on both subjects being the best that happened to them. He lean more into the couch sighing softly as he was now able to relax. He looked at the PDA that she had been reading before he came in. "Reading anything good?" he asked her wondering if it was work or just reading an good book she had.

"Oh, I am just reading a mystery novel, that's all. You know me, I can't get enough of that genre. Figured it would give me something to do, not work related,"Serenity answered. She figured she should not be all work at night, it was good to have something relaxing to do.

Mmm, any good?" He asked wanting to know. He did enjoy an good story when he gotten the time to do so. He didn't read a lot of mystery novels as much as she did. But he still enjoyed them. But He loved music as he was able to play the guitar and the violin.

Max smiled some before getting up and walking over to where he kept his guitar at. He picked up the instrument returning to the couch next to her. His fingers ran over the stings before he began to play an soft country song that he knew. It was an very old song, but he liked iT a lot. He closed his eyes as hr began the song. "I see the questionsin your eyes, I know what weighting on your mind. But you can be sure I know my part, Cause I'll stand beside you through the years. You'll only cry those happy tears and through I'll make mistakes, I'll never break your heart" he said softly as he opened his eyes and looked at her smiling the whole time. He enjoyed singing sometimes to her.
