Serenity put down the pad she was reading from onto the table as her husband got up to get his guitar. She got comfortable as he sat back down and began to strum on it, he really did always sound good. Then he began to sing and her heart began to beat rapidly, she loved when he sang to her. She fixed a soft look on him, letting him know she liked it.

Max saw the smile that she gave him, that let him know that she was enjoying the song. With the smile as an sign, he continued to play allowing his fingers to let the sound an the guitar to fill the room as he closed his eyes as he played. "I swear, By the moon and the stars in the sky, I'll be there, I swear, Like a shadow that's by your side, I'll be there, For better or worse, Till death do us part, I'll love you with every beat of my heart, I swear". He sang opening his eyes and looking at her once more. "I'll give you everything I can, I'll build your dreams with these two hands, We'll hang some memories on the wall, And when there's silver in your hair, Won't have to ask if I still care, 'Cause as time turns the page, My love won't age at all." he spoke softly as he enjoyed playing the song. It was one of his best remakes that he played based on an old Earth country song called 'I Swear'

Serenity smiled softly as he continued the song, she really loved hearing this one. It was fine listening from it coming from the computer, but it was even better hearing it from him. He just had a way of bringing feelings from her when he sang, was one of the things that drew her to him when they first met. She tapped her foot on the floor in time with the music, just losing herself in it.

He continued to sing as he played the guitar more for her. He saw that she was getting along with the music, he just smiled as e watched her. He began to home the song as he stopped playing the instrument. He placed it down getting up as he took her hands and pulled her up with him. He helded on of her hands in his as he placed his other hand on her waist as he began to dance with her as hr continued to home the song as he danced with her.

Serenity was a little surprised as he put his guitar down, but continued to sing and walked over to her. She allowed him to help her to her feet, then lightly placed her free hand on his chest. Following her lead, she began to dance with him, a smile on her lips.

Max continued to hum the song as he lead the dance with his wonderful wife in his arms. The two danced across the floor for what seem like forever as one of his hands began to run through her hair. Once he finished humming, he kissed her forehead and spoke "you know, your still an amazing dancer Serenity. You hadn't lost your touch" he said smiling softly at her looking into her eyes as they just danced even with no music playing.

Serenity closed her eyes momentarily as he ran a hand through her hair, it felt so good. It was amazing how much he could still make her weak in the knees. When he mentioned how well she still danced, her cheeks flushed softly at that.
"Oh honey, you just know the right words to say. I guess it just feels effortless when I dance with you,"she admitted.

"I'm glad to hear that" he said as the two of them continued to dance along the floor. "You remember the first time we dance?" he asked her, "it was at the school's porm the year we started dating." he smiled as he took ahold of her hand and helded it in his. He smiled as he remembered asking her out for the porm and picking her up as well. "you looked amazing in your dress". He spoke as he smiled even more at her.

Serenity laid her head on his shoulder as they continued to dance, feeling right at home.
"Yes, I remember that day pretty well. I was so nervous, I wasn't sure how it was going to go. And awww, I am glad you thought so,"she smiled, blushing lightly at his words.

Max continued to smile as his hand ran through her hair holding her in his arms. "I remember how much you were nervous. It was cute" he said laughing some to himself. "But seeing you in your dress just took my breath away" he told leaning in and kissing the top of her head. "Now we can be together forever, and that make me the happiest man to have you in my arms" he admitted to her.

"I took awhile picking out that dress, since I wanted to make sure it was the right one. Seems I did good with my selection. I am glad we have each other forever, I wouldn't want it any other way,"Serenity replied.

"You did take your time as I was starting to think that we were going to be late. But when you showed up in that dress, I almost forgot about the prom and was just blown away" he spoke as they continued to dance together before stopping and kissing her hand "and I wouldn't have it any other way ether Serenity" he replied back to her.

"I am still sorry that I almost made us late for the prom. Though, I noticed a lot of people were staring at us when we got there. I thought maybe I had done something wrong,"Serenity remembered with a laugh. She felt him kiss her hand and she blushed lightly at that.

Max smiled some at her reply about people staring at them at the prom "I saw that as well that's why I asked you to dance as to show off to everyone how beautiful you were." He told her as he interlocked his hand with hers.

"I should have known that was why you wanted me to dance soon after we got there. So you must have assumed that they liked my dress. I bet there were some people who were jealous of you,"Serenity smiled. She held his hand gently, looking perfectly happy.
