Max waved back to Samantha as she went over to her classmates before he looked back at Selenity and nodded. "Your right, she is an tough girl" he said before he headed out of the room with Selenity and headed to the turbolift.
Solomon smiled nodding, "I will" he said then looked forward when the lift open at last. They stepped out and headed down the hallway. As they walked, they saw Max and Selenity. "Morning. Captain, Commander. Just dropped off Samantha?" Dreaka asked to which Max nodded. "Yes. We just dropped her off and heading to the bridge." "Good, we are dropping off Solomon then we get to our stations" Dreaka replied. Max nodded, "alright then, see you on the bridge Number One" the captain said then he and Selenity entered the lift "bridge" and the lift closed.
Dreaka patted Solomon head as they went to the school room "alright son. Be good and listen to your teacher okay?" He spoke with Solomon nodding to his son "yes dad I will"

Samantha turned when she heard the voices at the door, smiling when she saw Solomon standing there with his parents. She would wait as they said good-bye, before she approached.
"If you need us, have the teacher get in touch with us. Have a good day, kiddo,"Ashley smiled softly to her son, patting him on the head.

Solomon smiled as Ashley patted his head, "I will mom" he said before Dreaka looked at his wife. "Alright, we need to get going our we will be late ourselves. Be good son and see you after school" he said before he headed out waving as he left the school and headed to the turbolift. Solomon waved back to his parents and after they left, he noticed Samantha and he waved at her as she approached him. "Hey, ready for school?" He asked her.
Meanwhile. Max and Selenity left the turbolift once they reached the bridge, max went over to his seat and saw down. "Any new to report?" He asked the third shift officer as he was standing next to the seat. "Nothing really. We will be at the nebula in afew hours." Max nodded as he listened "good. That will give the science teams alittle bit of time to be ready. I'm sure our new Chief Science Officer will be happy." He said smiling some. "I have the bridge" he said and the office nodder as the third shift left and the first shift began to take over.
Dreaka entered the turbolift and he looked at Ashley. "Today is the day, your ready?" He asked before talking to the computer "bridge" with the door closing and the lift started to move.

Samantha turned to look at Solomon when he spoke and she softly nodded her head with a smile.
"Yep, I think so,"she answered.
Ashley took a deep breath, straightening out her uniform. She knew her team would be busy today, but she would be ready for it.
"Yes, my team has been preparing for this. It is finally here,"she replied.
Serenity took her seat to the left of the captain's chair, looking out the viewscreen as she listened to the discussion.

Solomon was about to smile back but looked over ad the teacher spoke telling everyone to sit on the floor infront of her. Solomon took Samantha's hand and smiled back at her. "Come on, let's sit together" he said with the biggest smile on his face.
Dreaka listened and watched her as seem ready. He smiled nodding "good, I have full confidence in your abilities Lieutenant." He spoke before he leaned in and kissed her cheek "you got this honey. And know that you and your team will find us all of the answers we need" he said straightening his uniform before the the door open and entered the bridge and making his way over to his chain. "Captain. Counselor" he said as he sat down.
Max noticed that Dreaka and Ashley entered the bridge, he nodded to Dreaka as he sat down. "Commander. Lieutenant how is your team? Everything ready to go?" He asked Ashley as he looked over at her "we should be entering the nebula in an hour or so."

Samantha looked over to the teacher when she began to speak, before Solomon walked over with her. She smiled brightly, it felt good to have a friend to do school stuff with. Once they got to the teacher, she sat down in front of her.
"We got this,"she told Solomon.
Ashley gave a thankful look to Dreaka for his pep talk, that was why he was the first officer. She nodded her head, before they got to the bridge, then they walked over to the captain. She saw the counselor bow her head in greeting to them, before the captain spoke to her.
"Yes, captain, my team is ready for anything. We have been working on preparing since we learned what we had to do,"she answered.

Solomon nodded and looked back at the teacher as they began to speak. "Alright class. Are you know, we have some new students that have joined us today. They just moved onbroad, so be sure to welcome them." She looked at the kids, "will you say your names?" She asked and two kids spoke up before it was Solomon's turn. He sighed deeply as he was alittle scared, but he did it "I'm Solomon and my mom and dad just joined the crew" he said before the teacher spoke again. "Okay, now they get started with class then it will be break time." He said then turned on the computer screen and began to tall about spelling and reading.
Max nodded "good, we will be in range I'm alittle bit. As soon as finally checks are complete. We will start the scans." He said as he looked at the Lieutenant.
Dreaka looked at Ashley and asked after the Captain had finished "how close do we have to be to get great sensor readings and data?" He asked her.

Samantha listened as Solomon and some other new kids introduced themselves to the class. Once introductions were done, she patted Solomon on the back with a bright smile, to let him know he did really well. Then she got to work on her own computer, learning how to read and more about math.
"We need to be about a five miles away to get really good data, any further and it will be kind of hard for my team,"Ashley explained.

Solomon smiled as his friend patted his back meaning that he did well. He continued to learn how to read and math as well. This went on for abit before the teacher finished and began to talk. "Okay, now lets go over some of things we learned. "Samantha, can you please read what page 12 says?" She asked of her.
Dreaka nodded as he looked back to Max, "at that range. We will still be clean of the nebula." Max replied as he looked back to Ashley. "Good, as soon as we get in range. We can begin. Finish your checkup and be ready Lieutenant." He said to as he looked at Dreaka who smiled back. "How long do you think we need to get the data? Cause after this. We are going to meet up with the Titan in afew days." Max nodded "yes, we are to meet up in afew days as they wish to see Samantha as its been an long time" the captain spoke.

Samantha cleared her throat as their teacher asked her to read what page twelve said. Then she began to read as clearly as she could about adding.
"We will get right on it, Captain. As for how long it should take to gather the data, I would say a day, two days max,"Ashley replied to the captain calmly. So they would be meeting up with the Titan, the thought of that was amazing to her, having heard legends of that ship and its crew.

Solomon looked and listenedas Samantha read off what the page said about adding. The teacher nodded once she was done "good. Now if we take what she read and put it like this, it doubles the number" she showed about 10 plus 10 was now 20 and so on. "Alright next we will now go over Subtracting. Solomon can you please read off from page 14?" She asked to which nodded and began to read off what was in the book trying not to mess up. He did misread one work. But finished the rest and the teacher nodded and went over the subject for bit.
Max nodded as they will still have time to meet up with the Titan. "Good, Starlet wants to have some good data for research. So let's get some of the good stuff." Dreaka smirked then looked back over to the Captain. "The Lieutenant and her team will do well Captain. I guaranteed it" he said with an smile on his face with Max nodding.

Samantha listened as the teacher explained about adding, nodding her head softly. Then she paid attention as Solomon read about subtracting, before their teacher explained that as well. She would have to remember all of this.
"Alright, I will make sure we get the best data we can acquire. May I go get my team ready?"she asked.

The math lesson continued for a bit later before the teacher ended it by turning off her computer. "Okay class, we will take an small break and then go into history" she said with everyone getting up to do stuff. Solomon sighed as he was finally done. Math wasn't his best subject and he tried hard to follow along.
Max nodded to her "make it so" he Sai to her. Sometime layer. The Dragonfly got within range of the Nebula. Once they were ready, Max spoke over the Com to the Science Team. "Lieutenant we are now in range of the Nebula, you may be begin your scans."

Samantha wasn't too bad at math, but it wasn't her favorite subject. So she felt some relief when it was time for a break.
"So how is your first day going?"she asked Solomon.
"Alright, sir, thank you for letting us know,"Ashley's voice came over the comm. Then her and her team began their scan of the nebula.

Well math was for sure not Solomon's best subject as he was still looking over some of the questions when Samantha came over. "Okay, I don't like math to much." he said as he looked up at her as he was glad for an break. "mom is better than me anyway at math, I'm not good enough. Now History, I'm good at that" he said smiling as he got up. "So whats next after break?" he asked not knowing how they did it on the ship.
The bridge crew watched the nebula as the team began their scans. "Sir, the scans have began" one of the helmsmen said back to the Captain. Max nodded, "good, LT, keep us inform if anything comes up" Max spoke over the Comm back to the team. "LT, How much do you think it will take for the full data again?" Dreaka asked her over the comm.
